Yes it has very good sea keeping qualities….was 2 hours late due to storm…this is a super ship to travel on …i was on it at Christmas and was extremely rough but handled it very well….thanks for commenting…
Have you done the 2 night crossing leaving Rosslaire on Friday night? If so what facilities are open, if any, when you get on board on the Friday night? Bar, food etc
hi....yes i did the 2 night crossing july 21st. we were allowed on board at 10.15...cabins were not ready and were cordoned off...announcements were made for all passengers to sit and wait in the public areas...the bar was open and snacks/sandwiches/tapas were available and also the taberna de tapas was also open serving hot food.im unsure about the restaurant azul being open on the friday night and also unsure about the c/club lounge which in january when i was on salamanca was €45 p/p to gain access but now is €98 p/p to gain access... our ticket had meal included at time of booking which has now stopped... we had a meal in the azul restaurant on satureday evening which you have to book as its allociated time slots..the price for this was starter or dessert with main course €25 or €30 for starter/main/dessert....excludng drinks...the meal was very good....lots of people bring plug in electric cooler boxes for cabin to keep anything cold ...all cabins have euro/irish/uk plugs/usb sockets and a tv....small example of pricing a standard size bottle of coke from the vending machine onboard salamanca was €3.70....im booked on again for december 26th returning 21st january €630 return ...its sailing to santander for 3 months in january due to works in bilbao......and prices for next july 2024 are very similar to july 2023.....hope info is off help to you ..thanks for your question. .....T...@@louisemoore4550
I remember on the Connemara it had brilliant stabilization. Is the stabilization good on this ship?
