CANBERRA TIMES FOUNTAIN

CANBERRA TIMES FOUNTAIN was designed by by Bob Woodward and commissioned by Federal Capital Press in 1976 and installed as a gift to the people of Canberra in 1979. The tube and rods are of fabricated stainless steel. This dramatic fountain marks the intersection of Ainslie Avenue with City Walk. Bob Woodward most famous fountain design is the El Alamein Fountain in Kings Cross, Sydney.
