I used to road race it at Palm Beach International Raceway, but it was too far away and cost me $600 to get on the track for a day. So I started drag racing it at Orlando Raceway, and the car does very well in spite my old age and poor driving capability. Shame you sold it, and I can't understand why. I've had mine for about 9 years and the thought of selling it has never crossed my mind. Owning one of these is a lifestyle not just a fancy car. Your car is really nice - I love the taller hood scoop. Thanks for posting this video - it was great seeing it and seeing you enjoying it so much.
I hope to get my factory 5 next year, I have an original virgin 427 block for it. I really like the turkey pan look, but would love to put dual quads on. I need to decide because original FE intakes are still out there, but prices are on the rise.
Only one way to go, either a 289 with a clean-up bore to 294 like the original Shelby competition 289’s with 4 webbers or else an original side Oiler 427 with dual quads!

Why do people make videos of fast cars being driven by little old ladies? If one goes to the trouble of making a video, get on the gas. At least hit the top speed, with a speedometer shot.

I been driving my AC Cobra for 27 years, ear plugs are awesome, it gets rid of the wind noise and you can hear your engine better . Cheers
