- In his early 90s, local Austin musician Chencho Flores was diagnosed with inoperable liver cancer. Flores and ARA's Dr. David Quintana tell the success story of liver cancer treatment using hyper-localized Y90 radiation.
This procedure saved my life
How’s it going?
My dad went through y90 radioembolization for his liver cancer, had procedure two weeks ago.
He has been in near constant stomach pain, nauseous, and dropped 10 pounds now since the surgery
Very good and funny videos bring a great sense of entertainment!
My oncologist at the VA would not send me to UT Knoxville Cancer center as I asked her about having this done. I have at that time had about 4.5 inches of 5 metastatic Merkel Cell Carcinoma tumors in my liver, Now she has me on Keytruda , Just started that treatment a week ago on January 18 2023, next infusion Feb 8 2023, Asking why is she saying they can not do the y90 treatment?
Hey Jerry, that's messed up. I'm a Veteran and was approved by the VA for the Y90 procedure and go this Friday.
😂❤
You need a 2nd opinion. I was on Keytruda as well. Just did the y90.
Praying for you! Keep fighting the fight! Also look into getting your body into a hyper oxidative state l. My oncologist does this.
H2O2 therapy! Cancer HATES oxygen! ❤
@@robalyn36hi please tell me how you are doing?
My dad got the procedure two weeks ago and has since , dropped 10 pounds, in constant stomach pain and too nauseous to eat
@@FLiPtHeSWI7CH I’m doing well. I too lost weight and my bilirubin is elevated some. We think it’s due to the chemo tho. My body has been hit HARD! My oncologist also has me taking fenbendazole! It’s a dog dewormer. He wasn’t familiar w that until he had a patient come in w I believe colon cancer or prostate, both are similar to breast cancer. This guys my doc said, he’s never seen anything like the results he’s seeing. He asked him what he’s doing and he said taking 4 grams of this stuff and the cancer is dying at a rapid rate he’s not seen. So he’s trying to duplicate this. My oncologist studied at me Anderson for 30 years I believe. He’s here on UA-cam if you are interested in what he has to say. He sees patients from all over the states. Dr. Iacaboni is his name. I wish your family member (I can’t see your comment and forgot who you mentioned was struggling) the very best in their fight! And please tell them from me just a stranger fighting along side… THERE IS ALWAYS ALWAYS HOPE! Keep that mindset even when you don’t feel good.
My sister is in stage 4 liver cancer
Is this guy still alive or no
My Oncologist just rec this for me
@quinettabrown8836 hi just interested in hearing if you proceded with y90 treatment?
You won’t regret it. Make sure you rest and listen to your body. I had a bad reaction on the 1st dose but it only lasted about a week. My dr’s draw labs weekly so they keep a very close eye on me. I highly recommend the procedure none the less. It brings hope
@@robalyn36 they ended uP giving me Lutathera instead

On one hand the video says this Y-90 procedure is not curative. On the other hand the video discusses how the patient can return to a normal lifestyle that he had before learning of the cancer tumor. With this in mind, can the Y-90 procedure effectively eradicate the inoperable cancer tumor(s)...especially if the tumors are 2-3 cm or less?
Yes! I just had 5 blasted. 1st half in Feb, 2nd half March 5. In 2 months we will see. I do not feel any “activity” in my liver and my markers went from the 80’s to the 40’s in a week. They were over 400 but I also do dr burzynskis protocol and it has changed things drastically. I wish you the very best! This is not an easy journey that’s for sure
How old is he ? 🙏🏽 God bless him 💟✝️💟
Hallelujah amen 🙏🏽 😢 GOD is GREAT ! 🙏🏽
