Yeah. We lucked out and hit it about perfect timing.

Can confirm it does sink. It fell off my tube this week. Luckily it was in shallow water so I could recover it.

Streamers. Balanced leeches and chironomids under an indicator or on a midge tip. They're up shallow.
Are you using a floating line? I went to the Strawberry yesterday, and I was using a sinking line. Maybe I was fishing too deep. It was pretty slow fishing.
I started off using a hover line, but went to floating on both rods. They were either shallow, or in the upper column so I didn't feel the need to get down deep at all. Most fish were in less than 10 feet of water
I didn't put an aggressive sinking line on all day.
Could you explain your indicator rig?

@@TroutFlies Recognizing this is the first step. You should have tied on a big foam dry instead of a bobber. I bet you could have gotten at least 1 eat on it.
I tied on a jig sculpzilla for a while in the afternoon. I hooked into one that got off, but that was my only action on the streamer. The rest were on the suspended leech. It was fun to feel that strike though
