Horrific outdated wanna be tough guy military style training with titles/rank that mimic military so the already ego inflated profession of law enforcement makes people think they are more important then they are. That military style has no place for civilian policing. Plus all the bizarre things they make you do and superiors think they are Gods and your a piece of walking trash. You get abused for 6 months and anyone who goes along with it and allows another human being to subject them to those things tells me there a very weak minded individual at the end of the day. Submissive and no true identity in life. Brainwashing begins immediately. It’s all about control. Superiors try to convince you it’s the best Career ever know to man. Corruption is unbelievably high. Plus now I’ll get into the nitty gritty. Sexual advances and cheating are common place along officers. Sex rings between them is the norm. Spouses and partners get cheated on all the time because cadets/ officers are around other cadets or officers everyday so manipulation happens and then things go south. People in law enforcement are some of the most corrupt, power abusing, lying, hypocritical, manipulative, cheating, womanizing, vile, wicked, sinful, anti God people in positions of power there is. Everything I just said is 100% true and I know all this because of my job I know law enforcement very well and from personally experience. They are horrible people. Plus my ex went through the Houston police academy in November 2020 I was COMPLETELY against it and she ended up validating everything I said and said how bad it was. The corrupt in blue is a uniformed gang. The general population who blindly supports them, calls them Heros and all the other worshiping and praising they do when it couldn’t be further from the truth. If people really know what goes on behind the scene and who Law Enforcement really are nobody with any kind of intelligence and spiritual conviction would support them. Get out while you can. What do you do, a) pull over and approach the house and question why they have guns. b) keep driving and do nothing. c) pull over introduce yourself and engage a conversation about gun safety, gun cleaning, and types of firearms.
    d) call dispatch, let them know there are 2 armed individuals who appear suspicious, call for back up, or e) pull over, engage both indiviuals, run their I.D through NCIC to find out if they are felons and legally own all 3 guns.

If it's really something you want to do and feel good about doing with your life do it man, and i say this as someone who smoked a lot too. It may feel good for a moment, but saving lives and having a career worth having is much better imo. I stopped smoking in January, had an interview in May, started going to the gym, impressed and prove to them I was done with the smoking and now I'm hired as a police officer going into the academy in a month, it's possible you just have to want it.

In Florida the academy is 6 months long it’s 80% or higher on each test with a total of approximately 14-16 tests . Then after you complete your required hours and graduate from the academy, you are not certified until you take the Florida state exam which is 250 questions and you must pass with an 80% or higher

This guy isn't an actual cop lol
I went in and graduated like in 2004, did 13 years and got TF out. The most challenging part wasnt academy at all, it was learning to deal with other officers. I had a few issues with professionalism and conduct with my class of T48Alpha. It was a combination of frustration during combatives training and specifically during tactical handcuffing another officer.
We had to do Armbar takedowns from wristlocks in a set motion that the instructors showed us. You had to do it their way. Me and my partner was going about 20%-30% on each other and the instructor didn't like that, so he made my partner drive me into the ground to do the arm bar takedown. My issue was you had to preform about 12 steps in the takedown THEIR way or you would fail and have to start over.
Idk about you but 12 hours in a mat room towards waking up at 5 am to be there at 7 to start at 8 am, lasting till at least 7 pm, and trying to remember specific steps with a inpatient instructor was the hardest part.
The tests where all verbatim from study material and the POPAT in my state was a breeze.
Just get through academy and get on field training, that's when the REAL job begins. Just be yourself, be early, and have fun. You'll only get to live this once so enjoy it. Enjoy doing EVOC n stuff its a blast of a time.
