I have been collecting McKenzie child pieces for about six months and my collection is still small but it’s nice to know that I thought I look around maybe I can find some in the Thrift stores. I have never seen one in there yet but that doesn’t mean they’re not there thank you so much for all the information in this video
I have been collecting Mackenzie for awhile now, and have found several candle sticks at Goodwill in Naples Florida. And 2 bowls at a garage sale! But not to often do I find them. I only paid $3.99 for candlesticks!
Nice video. Some additional info. Only the ceramic pieces and some furniture are painted in Aurora NY. The black and white enamel ware is called Courtly Check and the enamel ware pieces are imported from China, Taiwan, and other places. The ceramic pieces are the best in my opinion. The early pieces have the hallmark and the stamp of the person who painted them. I love Mackenzie Childs🥰
I love this brand myself thank you so much for all the information I will surely be coming back and checking more of your channel you are very knowledgeable
I have found a few pottery pieces at local thrift stores. A pair of candlesticks, cookie jar and plates. Don't think they knew anything about them, as they were a few dollars. Also got a furniture piece from a consignment shop. It's the large round tuffet with the pottery feet. Paid just over $300.00 for it and it was in perfect condition. which was a great deal because they sell for around $1600.00. You just never know where you may find these pieces.
Hi been checking this friend out for about a year and a half started purchasing it about six months ago .You do have to be careful they overcharge for it all the time. You have to know the prices. We buy a lot of secondhand pieces. Because I have a UA-cam channel and I’m specializing in Mackenzie Childs pieces on my channel. And we also buy new ones. Also we find a lot of inspired pieces that means that they’re really not McKenzie child they just look like them so you need to know what you’re buying sometimes I think some of the stuff that we found has not really been there so I think it’s copies

Thank you so much for the additional info, I appreciate it.
I found a McKenzie Child plate at Goodwill for $3.99. The real deal! I resale but I’m keeping it.
Very nice find!
I have no words to describe how I feel about the people who stole Victory and Richard Mackenzie-childs, they stole their name, their designs.
I'd need to check that out. I don't know that fact.
I have many pieces of Mackenzie Child in my kitchen !
Nice, good for you.

Yeah, every moment could be a treasure moment.
Just found out about this a few weeks ago. I've noticed there are lots of look alikes in goodwill, but haven't found any yet.
I haven't even thought about copy cat items. Thanks for the heads up!
The mark on bottom is a thistle …
not a pineapple.
thanks

It’s like cottage core on acid!
pretty mush.
We don't have the outlet in the UK
Thanks for the info!
It’s mostly enamel ware, not pottery! I have 16 pieces ,all enamelware!
Interesting, never heard of that name before. Thanks.
Her designs are loud and are meant to be used sparingly. I don't think you need a collection of court jester designs.
lol
