Those knives look like art pieces, will they patina once i used them? Or they are more like art collection to be locked away in a glass container admire afar?
@@MasterofPlay7you can strip the patina away quite easily with baking soda. And polishing will remove the Damascus, but you can etch the blade with vinegar or FeCl to bring back the pattern
Love the garage sale! Makes me wish I had a knifewear near me
I would love to go but I live in London, any deal I get on the sale won't matter cause of the hoops I would need to jump through to get it delivered

These are absolutely made to be used! Some will patina, some will not, just depends on the steel!
@@KnifewearKnives you can't get rid of the patina once is formed right? If I polish the blade the Damascus pattern will also be gone as well?

@@maxwellabelson7794 yea like that sick rainbow Damascus, but I think that's still soft iron cladding and it will rust and patina?
@@MasterofPlay7 I’m so tempted to impulse but that, but it would definitely be an art piece
Where is that HATSUKOKORO rainbow handle? I can’t find it on the store but I need it!
Ahhh, it sold first thing, sorry about that!
Just bought a masashi kuroshu honesaki, totally stunning. I want to buy more but I think my wife would leave me 😂
Ooooh, that's a gorgeous knife!
