    Very nice demo Azu, all of this becomes harder when you have had your abs cut in half. Good to see you have an excellent friend in Jason. folk like that are priceless, best to both of you.

    Amazing video from you and Jason Azu! Love how you guys add humour in your content but at the same time know when to be serious. Love it. Can tell the both of you are very experienced practitioners by the way you move 👍🏾

    I really like this format with Jason asking questions and taking on the role of the student. It helps to explain why and how you do the movements you do. Please do more like this.

    The elbow strikes ends the fight in a second, if done correctly.

      It's all magic, turning the assailant into a sack of potatoes.

      remember, we don't want to depend on physical strength, in real martial arts. That's why people who do real martial arts are not all roided up like in MMA/UFC. The strikes are meant to get you into a position to use leverage, not strength, to control the guy. 🙂

      @@neutrino78x Indeed, look at Thai Boxers, it's endurance that gives them the edge.

    One thing people have to understand about Akido is that it’s looks all pretty in the dojo due to certain factors but in the street it’s dirty but just as effective.

    As a bouncer, I once hit a drunk with 3 (THREE ) solid elbow strikes to the jaw, and he didn't go down. Went to an arm bar next. That worked.

    The elbow and throwing him down easier and quicker?

    • @Aikidoflow
      @Aikidoflow  11 місяців тому

      Not quicker but choice

  • @randomadviceandmyopinionso2475

    The arm bar is good advice but as for the elbows, fights happen so fast thetes almost zero chance of cstching that punch and doing all those elbows in real time.

    I wish I lived near London, I would definitely be a part of Aikidoflow! Thanks for all of your videos! I have a suggestion... I know you have an online course, how about if you did a giveaway on that in exchange for people subscribing, watching videos, and commenting. I'm sure you would get a huge response. Well, at least I would enter your giveaway! I'll bet you would get more than just me too!... just a thought...

    How to end a fight against a drunk or someone who doesnt iniw Martial arts. What if you meet someone like me with Years of Muay thai , Capoeira, Wrestling , Chin Na , Choy Lay Fut , Wing Chun, HunGar? It wont be my bones broken and you wont be bragging or getting me banned from youtube is a childish act or reprisal
