Those days are done and they aren't coming back. The new seating sucks, the team sucks, the prices suck, the fans that come aren't even fans. It's not the same place it used to be. Glad I got many memories of going to games in 90's. I feel lucky to have that.

    • @bigblue9996

Wrong. I go to games and the crowd is elastic.

So have I. It's a different crowd and atmosphere. I went to a game a month ago. Like 8 seconds left, Knicks down 2 with the ball. Most of the place was still sitting for the final seconds. Don't fucking tell me bro. You don't even see that shit at a Orlando Magic game.

@DG 1 Yeah, but still a bummer the Knicks can't lure star players like they once could have. Only way we'll ever see these days happen at the Garden again will be when "Douche" Dolan finally bites the dust once and for all!

The spring of 1994 at The Garden. It was an amazing two months in NYC. The Rangers winning their first Cup in 54 years, and the Knicks going to Game 7 of the Finals. Losing to Houston was a stinger, the Knicks should've won that series.

    • @freakyfornash

If only Starks could have gotten the three point shot off at the end of the sixth game. That of which I'm at least 75% convinced would have gone in, until Hakeem O. just barely got a piece of the ball with the skin of his fingertips. He was on fire that game, and series, until his total 2/18 clunker in Game #7. That or should have at the very least, passed it to Ewing, who could have gotten an easy two, to force OT as well.

@@marcs3145 It's too bad Starks suddenly forgot how to shoot in Game #7, when he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn then. I knew the Knicks chances were done after Game #6, to the point where I couldn't even watch all of the seventh game, with how devastating that loss was, and pretty much saw it coming that weren't going to win it. I was not at all surprised to wake up and see that they lost the game and series the next day as well.

I'm a Chicago Bulls fan, and I remember HATING the Knocks back in the 90's. But even with that rivalry, the MSG ROCKED when the intros and crowd rocked the place back in the 90's.
