This isn’t meant to be a dig at anyone, but I think the majority of people that are bothered by your moving is because they don’t understand it. They didn’t have the bravery to do it themselves and they’re envious. I have had the same coming from a small town, we move A LOT but a ton of people from my town have never moved and don’t understand it.

I'm loving this so so much!! I've been wanting to learn French as well, but actual lessons rather than the apps, so thank you for introducing us to the program you use. As you know I've recently moved to London, I can relate to things being more expensive than Melbourne haha. Rent, food, groceries. But totally worth it to experience a new city and life.

Apart from my not getting why people should feel strongly about someone’s living preferences, I’m surprised people get bothered about you moving around, especially at this digital nomad era! 🤔
Me too. But I have seen a couple of comments on that flying a lot isn't good for the environment.. I don't know, maybe is has something to do with that 🤷♀
Possibly could be that too. I think a lot of comments I get are usually from people telling me to settle down and have babies instead of moving. Thats usually what seems to be the upsetting part 🤷🏼♀️

Hello from a fellow Aussie - I've been following you for a long time. If you've ever heard of the Myers Briggs personality quiz you may find your an INFJ which is a rare personality type. I'm an INFJ and can relate to being a naturally private protective person, and takes me a while to feel comfortable before divulging information to others.
I think the last time I did it I was an INFP but I should try it again 😆
My Aunty has that auto immune issue. She's older and it's awful for her. I'm glad you have a milder version because it's hard watching her go through it.
Also I'm not one who likes to move and I love living vicariously through you while you move. It seems so freeing and I love that it makes you happy. I'm hoping one day it will give me courage to move interstate or overseas.

I think the people are bothered about moving is the same way people are bothered talking about finance. It has an ick on conversations, not that it is bad, its just that most of the people correlates it to anxiety because they don't want to deal or deal again with it (past experiences, too big of a step, too much work, future, etc.).

Prices is something you can't really compare without comparing the average paycheck I think. And also a lot of other things come into play when you start looking at taxes, healthcare etc. The cost of living I learned is so much more nuanced than just comparing certain prices :)
Your French sounded actually okay tbh, being Flemish I can guaranty that there are people in Belgium speaking way worse on intonation than you do :)

I sometimes regret not travaling more as a student as I am now turning 25 and already owning a home, stable relation and having a dog and 3 sheeps.... I do not regret those choices either as it gives me a stable home base as well :)

I do believe you can bruise easier if you are anemic. I had really low iron in december and in march I ended up getting an iron infusion. It definitely helped

It’s alright to move sometimes but to do it all the time isn’t healthy
The fact people ask why you move around a lot doesn’t ‘grind people’s gears’ it’s just a question, people are inquisitive by nature, it’s not annoying them it’s just different, maybe you’re just reading into the question more than there is ?
A lot of people have told me I need to stop moving and settle down and take my life more seriously because I’m now older. That to me says they’re not happy with how I live my life 😊
I just can’t believe people have the nerve to tell you what you should do. It’s not their business. I think it’s great you have the courage to move and have fun.

With the thing about moving all the time annoying people, I think it’s more the level of privilege to be able to call moving all over the world a ‘hobby’. Very few people could even fathom that.

I wanted to address the comment that legend1111 left you. I feel like that was a savage and aggressive way to comment on things they aren’t currently liking about your videos. They aren’t one hundred per cent wrong, but there is a kinder, more humane way to express those thoughts and offer feedback. I too have felt over the years that there are long periods of time that go by where it is clear that you are holding back and sitting on things - which is completely your right to do - but it’s also alright for your audience to get annoyed at the lack of transparency. I too find that some of your content in 2023 has gotten repetitive - i.e. talking constantly about your budget tracker and, yes, the constant visits to the storage locker, but we also understand that you’re in a transition period and that your content will change as you change and as your life situation changes. We are patient and will grow with you through those changes. Don’t get discouraged by the harsh trolls. I too am an introvert and find sharing a challenge - let alone to thousands of strangers on the internet. Your timeline is fine. Processing first is healthy. Have fun on your trip with your boyfriend and don’t think on it for a second.
Yeah I don’t trust people. I’ve seen your comments over the years. They’re not always pleasant and I don’t like having to read what you say sometimes. The less I tell you the less I have to read negativity from you. You always seem to criticise me about something and it can be really hard some days

Sometimes I question whether I'm cut out to be online. I love the way I get to be creative in making videos but I fear upsetting people. I'm not sure what the answer is.
