Great as this is, there's an underlying issue - a bit of the motherboard has failed. Right, so you can swap the eprom into another used motherboard & away you go - however that presents the issue of dickery & having to find a used good unit.. A better question would be, what bit of the original motherboard has failed & how can that failure be repaired. With all due respect.

Yhe unit was flooded. That is the common cause on these.
