Ty thick thirsty can it be used to spread stain on hardwood floor and then change it out to remove the stain. It sure looks like it could. Where can I buy that type of pad.
Have not tried using a bonnet to spread stain, so can't comment on that. And I've never heard of it being done. So I'm not sure if that will work smoothly. Here's where you can get the Thick N Thirsty bonnets... excellent-supply.com/products/thick-n-thirsty_tnt_synthetic-blend-bonnets
What is the differences, or strengths between bonnet cleaning and using the fibre pads? If encap has the purpose of not needing extracting, why use the bonnet?
Encapsulation works great as a standalone method of maintenance. Bonnets can add the dimension of absorption to the cleaning, so more soil can be pulled than encapsulation alone can provide. This combination can be helpful, particularly when the carpet is more heavily soiled.
Hi, I’m gonna start using a Oreck Orbiter. I’m planing to start my business with residential and comercial carpet cleaning. Since I’m just starting, I’m planning to get only two pads for now one for comercial, one for residential. Which pads would you recommend me to start with? Thanks a lot !!
I noticed you guys are in Pinellas. I am over in Plant City is pickup available? I can't imagine shipping would take long. Great video very informative!
I'm going to clean a 1200SQ Terrazzo flooring. I just order the Bonastre pads from you. And wonder if I can use my fiber red pads as well. Not sure what the grit on the red pads are though.
For floor cleaning, the FiberPlus Max pads are very popular. They clean hard surface floors with good agitation. Bonnets can also be used to dry buff the floor at the end to remove any haze. --- Now for terrazzo, the Bonastre Pads are an entirely different animal. Those are polishing pads. Using the Bonastre pads you've just ordered will enable you to develop a brilliant shine in a very simple approach. What works best for tile and grout? I’m assuming the brush’s but maybe you have a video on them also and I just haven’t found it yet. I’m better with floors than I am the enternet
I’m interested in trying out the glide In my home, would you say it’s an all around pad? I’ve been in the commercial cleaning business for over 20 years, I provide carpet cleaning as a service. We only do h/w extraction. I think it’s time to try a different method for better results.
I've also had good results on carpet using Americo's white super polish pads. Particularly on residential. Have you ever tried them on carpet? What are your thoughts?
Good morning, I clean a facility that has those foam interlocking pieces over the entire floor. I was wondering what you recommend for cleaning this type of material. I thought bonet because of not being so abrasive but would like your opinion? I really like the second to last one in the video as it scrubs and absorbs.
I'm not familiar with a foam interlocking floor covering. But the Microfiber Glide bonnets would probably work well for that, since they're not overly aggressive.
@@EncapTV It is know as EVA foam tiles. Similar to what you would see in a daycare that kids play with and some gyms have a version of it as well they use on their floor. I appreciate your response and will have to look into that bonnet.

CRB's have a greater potential to dig into the pile and pull up dry soil. They also lift the pile which is great. On the other hand, bonnets and pads tend to clean heavily soiled carpet just a little bit quicker.
No, that is not normal at all. If that occurred, there was a serious case of operator error! The technician may have done one of the following three things: 1. They may have used an aggressive pad, not suited for commercial carpet cleaning. 2. They may have not lubricate the pad (having correct moisture is very important). 3. Or they may have run the machine extremely slowly over the carpet (or perhaps stood still with the machine running) which could damage the top of the carpet. A professional carpet cleaner would not normally ever never do any of the things listed above. So it's a bit of a mystery.
Absolutely. Microfiber bonnets rinse out easily. Makes it possible to require fewer bonnets for a job, since they can be rinsed out quickly on the job.
The Glide pads are specific for cleaning well, while being gentle to the carpet fiber. All microfiber pads have the ability to pull up infinitely more soil than traditional bonnet materials due to the nature of the microfiber fiber strands. As a result of their fiber, microfiber bonnets generally don't appear super dirty (unless they're totally loaded with soil). So it's a good idea to get into a routine rhythm of flipping or changing microfiber bonnets at regular intervals throughout the job (based on the level of soil in the carpet). But you can SEE see just how much soil has been pulled if you will dunk a bonnet into a 5-gallon pail, let it soak overnight, and then wring it out in the morning. It's impressive.
@@Griffin49 Feel free to use any of the pads / bonnets mentioned in this video. They’re all excellent for carpet cleaning. Microfiber bonnets are extremely popular for bonnet cleaning, and Fiberplus pads are super popular for straight Encap cleaning.
They just need to be damp. Pre-dampen the bonnet, and then pre-sray the carpet (or spray as you scrub if you have an onboard sprayer) as you work with the bonnets on the carpet.
Hi Joe, It depends on you method of cleaning. As the video mentioned each bonnet or pad has a different application. Microfiber Scrub and the microfiber Glide bonnets are super popular, they might be a good place to start.
Best education on bonnets ever !

Thank you! Yes, I would recommend the Microfiber Glide for wool. And you'll still likely see some staple fiber shedding.

Could the blue pad be used to spread the oil base stain on hardwood floors after I screen the floor.
No, I think a flat microfiber mop would be a better option for that.
What works best for tile and grout? I’m assuming the brush’s but maybe you have a video on them also and I just haven’t found it yet. I’m better with floors than I am the enternet
Yes, brushes are generally best for tile & grout. They travel into the grout lines better than pads or bonnets.
Thank you for the video.
You're welcome. Hope the information is helpful!
Thanks for posting. Do you have a Canadian distributor?
We have a distributor in Canada for Releasit. But we don't have distribution in Canada for pads or bonnets.

Yes. The Glide bonnets are ideal for residential carpet. It's what cleaners frequently go for in a residential setting.
Thanks. I know they pull dirt well. I just don't understand why they aren't made in white so it's easier to see the dirt while cleaning. Thanks again.

Do you have a UK supplier for your encap products?
We do not presently have a UK distributor. If you know of a GOOD distributor who would be interested, please let us know.
What about the crb? How do these compare?

what size pad does orbot vibe use? thanks in advance.
The driver is actually 17". But most cleaners opt for a slightly larger bonnet. The most popular size bonnets/pads for the Vibe are 19".

Absolutely. Microfiber bonnets rinse out easily. Makes it possible to require fewer bonnets for a job, since they can be rinsed out quickly on the job.
What bonnet u recommend for a 175. (Brush driver)
That depends entirely on your planned usage, carpet type, etc. The 19" Scrub bonnet is our most popular bonnet.
Have both microfiber bonnets for the Oreck?
Yes, we have 3 different pads (in stock) for the Oreck Orbiter... 12" Microfiber Glide, 12" Microfiber Scrub, and 12" Tuway Thin One bonnets.
What are your thoughts on the iron man pads?
They are good cotton-based absorbent pads. Similar to the Superzorb's.
...Bonnetastic...!!! 👍🏻
Great tag line "Bonnetastic" :-)
Why do you make blue glide pads. They simply don't show the dirt you're absorbing as well as white pads do.
The Glide pads are specific for cleaning well, while being gentle to the carpet fiber.
