Mate, you gotta start trying some more recent MREs, like within the last decade or so, or you'll surely chunder one of these days. That being said, these videos are brilliant and highly entertaining, with the authenticity of your responses. ' The aroma of old gym socks'; 'a hint of grandma's dusty attic'. Classic! I feel we're learning more about Lloyd as a person through these videos than all of the others. Keep up the excellent work!

@William Pomeroy Steve has gotten botulism a couple times from those expired mres. They are fun videos, but they can be dangerous if you get unlucky

I just wanted to say I'm obsessed with the way you meticulously spread condiments or spreads to every corner and every side of like, a cracker, or a piece of bread. I first noticed it when watching your deli videos, and I've always thought it was a wonderful trait of yours.
I officially spent this whole video saying, "oh no!" And worrying for Lloyd's life. Whether it be food poisoning or the heater exploding. I guess he is okay since he uploaded this video.
The heaters literally can't explode unless you make an MRE bomb.

God i love MREs, they fed us the newer style MREs in Navy Bootcamp quarantine for covid carriers and now I'm hooked on them. Love seeing the old vintage MREs though
Chicken stew was my absolute favorite out of all MRE'S that we had when I was in. Was glad they carried it over when the newer tan bagged ones came out. The corned beef hash was my least favorite by far followed by hot dogs. Those shits were horrible!!
Found the channel about 2 weeks ago, normally I'm so relaxed. This time I was cracking up at the faces and reactions toward that "food". Great video

Lloyd I for one would not be upset if in these old - MRE reviews you stopped short of actually tasting anything that appears to suspect. That fruit was especially nasty looking and as I was watching was saying " Lloyd, you don't need to eat it...don't make yourself sick!!!

I typically listen to asmr to block out noises at night (I have hypersensory processing disorder, tl;dr I hear extremely well), but this was so intriguing, I didn't even fall asleep lol
That’s cheese but there is peanut butter in there to work it up and down before opening sometimes the oils separate so you got to blend it back together.

I would recommend the pepperoni pizza MRE, had it myself a few years ago and it is pretty unique. But for what it was it tasted okay. Plus it’s a newer MRE like 2018ish so it won’t taste like rancid food 😂 great video btw

Those buggers can last a long time but without the right conditions you’re looking at 3-5 years before they go bad. Trust me you do not want to see what happens to those gut wrenchers when they go bad.

My man next MRE please do one you'll enjoy! Two in a row that are... less than enjoyable. There's plenty of MRE's out there that are not bad. Try the Chili Mac it's as good as they come. Put the crackers, hot sauce, and cornbread in with the chili mac and it's a delicacy! Anyway, thanks for the amazing ASMR my man, all the best!
My theory is that MRE's are from fallen soldiers who didnt make it or left over MRE's after battles and wars
