Towards the end of this demo is a great example of why even the smallest of tube amps still have that quality the best solid state amps can't yet generate...that singing, natural sustain that remains musical and not harsh. I love solid state amps but this is one area they haven't been able to get to over the years, despite any number of valiant efforts like Peavey's transtube, which Hartley can surely be proud of.
@Novamusik Thank you friends!!! i'm living Reunion Island,it's a french island,where can i find this incredible guitar?love the humbuckers(with the split,hummmmm!!!!!)
A lot of the videos are running through the matching 1x10 cabinet, which won't have much bass response. Plugged into a 2x12 or 4x12 it gets much bigger.
@ufc70wasnotasbombas7 It should work without worry. Both cabs are rated for 30 watt RMS input at 16 ohms. The main difference is the V110 is sdesigned with the Lil' Night Train in mind, and the V112 with the AC4TV in mind. But it'll work fine.
Freddy can play the shit outta that guitar. Been listening to him play those Vox amps for a while. He could make a Frontman sound good. The Lil Night Train has some good tone. Might buy one to put along side my other Vox so it doesn't get lonely.
can someone tell me what song or riff he is playing at 1:02 ? Or a song that sounds like it i love the way that sounds and would like to learn how to play it.
Sorry for my ignorance. Being this a 2w head, and having I a 30w box (same as the video), does it means that it will sound at 2w as maximum output volume?
It's not a Greenback, it's a "custom" Celestion made specifically for Vox. And the cab is not fantastic. The amp sounds great into pretty much any 12" cab, and even the Marshall 4x12 I tried it in.

"by bringing the gain up a bit, it gets more agrassive" xD
This is a really good demo btw. Thank you!
@tollan23 The pickups are VOX Coaxial Pickups. I have a video half edited for the Vox line of guitars, including the one in this video
This is the first demo i've heard where the amp sounds decent.

Pretty much yes :)
Could this amp be used with a drummer in a band? And if so, could you still get the clean sound we hear at the beginning of the demo?
Dude I'm blues rock, but your chops would be impressive to pretty much and style of player, this was a fine review.
@tsrzad eeehm..im thinking you meant the 'Heartbreaker' solo piece..?
Hi, would you please tell me what mic are you using ?
Heartbreaker-esque Solo = 100% Snarl
what the big diference between the ac4tv and the lil nightrain? i am looking to buy so i need yours opinion about. And the head or the amp?
Is this enough to play with drum in pubs o small locals?
dat smile at 4:05
@WilfridRUN Sure they do. We could definitely set you up with one.
What kind of pick ups are you using?
Is this loud enough for small gigs over a drummer?
Nice demo, I would've like to hear some chords at the different gain setting, though.
@GuitarRock6 k what bout a black heart amp stack?
It has quite a bit of gain on tap, enough for most styles of metal. Slap in a pedal and it will do anything.
I love VOX products,and i'm gonna buy this nice lil' amp!!! the guitar looks so good too,do Vox made a lefty model?
Great video
Why is there no STANDBY on this amp?
Can i play a high gain stuff on this amp? Metal, for example.
@GuitarRock6 ok what about a marshall MG-30FX im getting it for christmas.
very good cheap amp.
209 euros.
Great Demo of a great amp...and it will do metal better any other small amp at a volume your ears will thank you for!
do you think it would sound good or a slash tone dude?
Who would win in a fight, Freddy DeMarco or Johnny DeMarco?
IT'S A DEMARCOFF!
nice amp, BUT I did read alot of bad things about the 110 cabinet.. even though its loaded with a celestion green back speaker

@GuitarRock6 aha;)

OK is this amp loud enough too gig with a drummer ?
Do you use effect?
@hipidude12 200 to 450 euros approximatively
He can plays a potato and sound awesome!
@GuitarRock6 use headphones my friend
@hipidude12 Yes may be but is it too loud ( i'm in an appartement)
Uh oh! I heard heartbreaker solo!
can i play a gig with this amp ? with drums, etc
no
yes you can, but you have to amplify it through the PA system and of course u need a good sound technician ;)
@GuitarRock6 how much are you lookin on spending dude?
VARKS?????
i like
@dimebagdarrellftw that's what she sai... never mind.
my only criticism of it, (judging from youtube vids only), is that it doesn't seem to have very good bass ??
@UKToneKing
Go take it!
vox tone* those words get slung around alot. that amo doesnt sound verry voxy to me. it sounds more marshall plexi.
Sammy Hagar??
@hipidude12 I want to buy a tube amp :)

That's a tiny head
@hipidude12 Too expensive for me....
