      Some of my best designs were the result of a mistake. As Bob Ross would say, "Happy Little Accident." Embrace the imperfection. Thanks for watching. Livestream today at 2 PM EST on youtube.com/@lasermakersrealm. Catch it if you can.

    Great video,and yes lightburn is a very special software...Some people just don't take the time of what lightburn can do, and what you can create. I have been lasering for 2 years now, and had lightburn for over a year...The possibilities are endless!I have 3 diode lasers 5,10 and 20 watts...Each one has a purpose for either engraving or cuttiing...I am looking in the near future to go the C02 route,I am still on the fence about that...My creations have paid off all 3 of my lasers,and more...

      Glad it was helpful! Be sure you subscribe and hit the notifications. The next video I drop will teach you how to add perspective to text, creating an embossed look. You can do the same thing to images adding depth to your projects.

    The future sounds exciting. Have you decided on which CO2 you're going to get? I'm intrigued but sticking with my D1 for now. I've sold some Christmas ornaments and tags and more speed would be nice but cant justify another laser yet. Looking forward to the new channel.

      I have actually already ordered a 60W CO2 should be here next week. It's actually really inexpensive when you look at the big picture. More details and videos on that decision very soon. I plan to share that experience just like I did the xTool. From receiving to uncrating and the entire learning curve.
      You just jump over and subscribe to the new channel here a link.

      I will be continuing this channel as well. They will be two entirely different animals.
      You won't believe a video I just finished collaborating on. It was the first video we collaborated on and is going to be very informative. It will actually be on The Louisiana Hobby Guy channel. but as soon as it drops I'll share it as well.
      If you are already doing some production work, get ready. You will want to take advantage of a discount I'm negotiating on your own CO2. That's coming in my next video.
      As always, thanks for watching.

    Hey Hobo at 6:04 you took your mouse over to the edit node on left toolbar, How did you you get it to pop up the popup window showing the menu for Edit Node?

    • @HoboWithWood
      @HoboWithWood  Рік тому

      Wait. Simply be still and wait. If you place the cursor over most of the tools and menu items and wait a second or two, a menu automatically pops up.

    How do you all keep the work table full size.when I drag a file the work grid the work surface gets very small

    • @HoboWithWood
      @HoboWithWood  Рік тому +1

      Your worktable size shouldn't change unless you are zooming in or zooming out. It's been my experience that when Lightburn is doing something unusual like this, it is usually a hardware problem. It could be as simple as a mouse problem or as major as PC or graphics card. If you have the ability, first try a different mouse. If that doesn't solve it, try a different computer. But it sounds like the computer is confusing the actions of the mouse. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

    HOW did you place the circle at the center of the triangle at 6:18?

      It's easier to show you than try and explain it. Email my at hobowithwood@gmail.com. I will make a quick demonstration video and shoot it to you.

      It requires having your "Snap to Objects" turned on.

      If you have a laser, it's the best software to create files for your projects. It looks intimidating at first, but it's quite ready to learn. If you're thinking of trying it, I'd recommend watching my videos first. Then you can download the software with a 30-day trial for free. Having watched some videos you will already be familiar with the layout and operations. You'll be ready for maximize your time in the 30-day trial. You won't regret it. Thanks for watching.
