- I bet you saw my bucket before I did, lol. Garden is going well if the animals would quick EATING! it. :-(Oh ya and I planted climbing bean where I wanted the bush beans, lol. Blessed days
I sure potatoes will grow with or with out the flowers, they look healthy. Nice acorn squash, I like to cut them in half were they make cups and fill them with brown sugar before baking. so good like pie. have a Blessed Day DC. 😎
Yep Brown Sugar and loaded with Butter, that is the same way my Mother makes then, they are so good. I like growing them because they store well for Winter, with this we have a years worth of them. I might look into Butternut squash, I hear those are good to and you can make them the same way as the Acorns. Thanks for stopping by Noah, Blessed Lords Day buddy...
Awesome harvest!!!
I'm impressed, growing squash isn't easy. I tried growing squash last year... Something (I forget the name of the parasite) kept eating at the stem of the plant near the roots... I buried the vines in several places to have the plant take root all over, but the harvest was affected pretty bad.
The stuff the "mice" haven't eaten has done well. My corn not so much, but I wont have to build most of the garden next year so I'll be able to get it in the ground earlier.
It got in late this year because bees come first. Right when it was time to get the garden built and planted it was HONEY BEE TIME! lol you know how it can be in Spring when the bees wake up. Well that is when I was building all the new Singles and having to stay on top of that. So the garden projects got put on the back burners. Thanks for stopping by Alex, I was just going to watch your new videos now.😁Blessed Days buddy...
I do think it will still make potatoes coz they are the roots, the flower is meant for seeds only. Nice beans you got☺
Thanks for the input Anne, I keep telling people I really don't know much about gardening. 😁I really appreciate the info, the majority of my garden "experience" was as a kid before the age 12. 🤔So I was just mostly labor.🤣Blessed Days Anne...
@@dcsblessedbees Just as I really don't know much about bees and learn from you.♥
Looking good DC at least you’ll eat good
Yep, I just have to pick it before the field mice get to it.😂Home grown does taste so much better, next you I'll be able to get the garden in earlier. Turns out Spring is busy times for both Bees and Garden.🤣Blessed Days Randy.😁
@@dcsblessedbees yes spring is a very busy time, have a blessed week
