  • We do a final inspection on my Problem Children, yep laying works. Well that's no fun, time to come up with a plan. I don't think it was Queen Quality issue with Caucasians, more them likely I didn't let them build enough before trying to make splits and made poor choices on my frame selection. Well we got to Learn Laying Worker this Season. Blessed Days...

    DC yes you can have more than 1 laying workers. No they can't fly back, so shake out away from hive. So workers can fly back.

      Thanks much Russell, I spend a lot of time getting information in and logged away. 😂Recall can be the issue, I am sure I had asked Harris in the past.

    Hi DC may I ask what do you use to trap small hive beetles?

    • @dcsblessedbees
      @dcsblessedbees  20 днів тому +2

      I do not have small hive beetles up here in WA. Some will get brought in with pollinator bees but they are not a large issue here. I think our Winters kill them for the most part.
      Greg Burns @Natures Image Farms or Tim and Hannah @Gunline bees. They have much more experience with SHB's they would be good to ask.
      Sorry I can't help ya with those suckers, they can be a big issues in many areas. In some ways I think they are worse then mites.

      @@dcsblessedbees Oh ok thanks DC! I thought those were unscented swifter sheets you had in your bee box. I've been told those help with SHB.
