Daniel Geraldo Thank you Daniel for your kind words. Just lik you, I never tire of seeing this bike. And i think it is why looks so timeless. Thanks for your comment. Um abraço.
I have seen many videos from RACER TV, and this one is the top one! Or did a tell it last time?! I am always impressed!! Truly starving to see another one…
I thought many times, the bikes and the way you are presenting them can hardly get any better. And then round the corner you show up with THIS! I love vintage Yamaha and don´t want them to be misused for some "experiment". But this XS 650 will live on as a masterpiece of cafe-racer art. To get back to my point: It hardly can get better than this. If I´d find the time to build a cafe-racer, I wish it would look like this in the end. Totally flashed. Thanks for presenting this unique bike.
Carsten Krampe Thank you so much for all your kind words. I agree with you about this perfect bike. Unfortunately, i think in practice, is very hard to achieve these lines, especially in the fuel tank. It seems very simple, but technically, very difficult to mold the forms in the aluminium sheets. Good luck for your project. Cheers.
It drove straight out of the mist of the 1930 ties,I currently have a smile from ear to ear, this bike is art in motion what a beautiful machine,i'm going to watch this video again,....and maybe again😆
ThatDutchguy Lol. I completely understand your comment. A bike like this deserve to be seen several times, until we understand why is so simply, and why it works. Thanks for your comment. Cheers.
Matthew Prestine To be honest, i think the best way to describe a custom bike, is putting the viewer in the same perspective of who built it. I'm glad you liked not only the bike, but also the video. Thank you. Cheers.
The initial production of the XS-650 was introduced to the United States in 1969. This was a stalwart motor, a more reliable knockoff if you will, of the British Triumph Vertical Twin. It was available in the USA for more then ten years, and thousands were sold. I've always liked this motor and it's great to see such a beautiful interpretation of what can be done with this platform. ~ S ~
TheCarablanco Thank you for sharing some history about this yamaha. Just like you, i also appreciate these projects, especially for seeing how different it can be with the same frame and engine. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
ibadi45 Precisely. As i said in the video, this is the kind of bike which was built forever, and not for the moment. Thanks for your kind comment. Cheers.
Just blowed my mind off . That is the most beautiful cafe racer I have seen , and I had see lots. Is a work of art pure and simple . Art! And moves me!
joab antesana Well said. You mentioned the kind of ingredients, which are very hard to explain, but essential for an amazing project like this. Thank you for your nice comment. Cheers.
Puxa vida... enfim sexta-feira!
Simply amazing. The divine proportion in action for sure. What an amazing work of art. I'd love a picture of this to hang on my wall. So unique and yes the transformation render is always a favorite thing to see.
+Ride AMAP (As Much As Possible) I'm glad you liked. This is a really beautiful machine. It seems you were in vacations. I didn't saw you here in the last weeks. :) I hope everything is ok with you. Thanks for all your comments on my last videos. Cheers.
Glad to be back. Last 3 weeks have been very busy. Thanks for noticing. I hit you with comments catching up on your videos. I really enjoyed watching the last 3 or 4 back to back.
thank you for your reply ...its a great piece of music to de-stress to and a great choice for this video. After seeing this cafe racer , I don't thiink I'll ever look at my 79 XS650 in quite the same way again......
Had to be a XS... I doubt its comfort, but it´s the most amazing bike I´d ever saw. Congrats AutoFabrica. RacerTV, you videos are amazing, the quality of projects you pick, the images, the edition, the pace, and I even like the robotic narration... thanks to bring us all these bikes with this top quality of presentation. And allow me suggest: in some cases like this one, a making off could be very interesting. This gas tank is insane! Tá fixe!
+Ken Saba Thank you so much my friend for all your kind words, and also for your sugestion. Unfortunately, i'm always limited to the photography/video material available. And that is what determines the main subject of the video. Very kind of you trying some Portuguese. :) Thank you. Cheers.
I know those 6 dislikes have difference of opinion but this bike is beautiful and graceful.. I wish I was able to tell those designers how great their work is.. I have my own project in work now and it's different completely than this xs650.. tells me how diverse my tastes are!! Kit you did a great job explaining as usual.. I'm a transplant here in Oklahoma USA
XS650 bikes are a dime a dozen....but this is the very pinnacle of design for the breed! I am a fan of the XS simply because it mimics the Triumphs of old, I own a 66' Triumph TR6R that one day I will finish (I hope, lol) The flowing organic lines of this bike are just unmatched!! For me I am not a fan of the exhaust pipes exiting on the same side (I know nitpicking, lol) but aside from that this is just absolutely gorgeous!!
Hey Pal!! I'm sorry this bike isn't up to your aesthetic standards well actually I'm not. I stand buy my statement, there are tons and tons of XS's out there on the market. I did not comment on their condition or the vision of those that might have modified them that is their business and I must say if we all had the same taste it would be pretty boring. While I respect your opinion, I do not apologize for mine.
well you better stay away from Harleys then because they are or maybe were by now the # one seller for a long time and built basically the same bike for the last hundred years. So must be the "masses " prefer boring. And the trouble with most peoples' "visions"is that while they may or may not be nice to look at....but most of them are NOT...you can't ride them for any length of time because they are horrid to ride. You can't just go cutting , chopping, and welding any type of rapid transit without having some engineering skills...which most of you hackers do not have...and expect to build something that is fun and safe to ride. And what is the point of a "dime a dozen"...(which BTW they ARE NOT anymore...Harleys are though..) anything..for a lawn ornament???? As I said they are shit to look at pieces of art that usually only appeal to the essentric type.....Yeah I guess there is nothing wrong with that. Bobbers are especially a waste of a nice vintage motorcycle...And BTW...Jack Allen use to live around the corner from me but he passed away....OH now i get it!!!
Rick Anderson I recognize that this bike has some limitations in what concerns to riding it, but as a design project, it is just gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your opinion. Cheers.
"Made forever" as being distinctive from being made to last. Very true and cleverly said. However, I think this bike as been here forever anyway, at least in my mind because its design signature reflects my imaginations of cafe racer very well.. Must be why I have watched this video three times. )

Saludos.
Pie Genit Thank you for your kind words. I think the front covers in the shockbreaker have to be installed during the front forks installation. If you check the first image in this video, you will find 2 small openings in each cover, which allow the tightening of the screws. Cheers.
I hope his one comes on top 10 this year!!!!! what a gorgeous machine, love the tank and seat,,, its so awesome.. :D Can you please let me know about the tyres, (size and make of the tyre)
Surjeesh Laishram Yes. Me too. Thank you for your comment. I tried to find information about the tyres, and all i found is that at the fron,t is a 19 inch avon speedmaster mk1, and in the rear is a 18 inch Firestone Champion. Unfortunately, i don't know the sizes ot the tyres. Cheers.
He he he...
It's a pity indeed that we see all these beautifully build bikes all over the internet and never-ever anywhere the slightest hint is given on how much they cost if one really would want to buy one.
These beautiful motorcycles Type 6 Yamaha XS 650 and Type 8 Honda CX 500 are now exhibited until September 2016 at the M.A.D.Gallery (Rue Verdaine 11, 1204 Geneva, Switzerland). Don't miss the opportunity to see them in real.
Please explain the Divine Proportion and how it is applied to a project. Does this apply only to a Cafe Racer, or can it be applied to other bike styles? Thank you.
Try to search on youtube for "cafe racer formula", and you will find 2 of my videos about that matter. I never tried to apply the Divine Proportion in other bike styles. So, i don't know if it will work as good as on Cafe Racers. :) Cheers.
+Ashana. Jackol Thanks for your suggestion. I already tried some videos about scrambler bikes, but unfortunately, it didn't had the success that i was expecting. Cheers.
Arysantana Santana Excelente perspectiva.
Thats a lovely bike! but this classic Cafe Racer rear just never stops to bother me. It looks like the rear will bite into the tire if you go over a bump.
+Alexander Schmidt Yes, you're right. But i think that's exactly the pretension of the designer. Just like the handlebar, which seems floating in the air. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
inkitatus1 Yes, there are some limitations about this project. But we can always ride it in the shining sun days. :) Thanks for sharing your comment my friend. Cheers.
Please use ur own voice it's Allgood :) and where to buy 125 cc caferacers. I simply don't have The time and skill to build them by my own :) greetings from Germany! Ur 125 honda is awesome
***** Thank you for your opinion about my voice and my bike, but according with most Racer TV Fans, This robotic voice sound very good, and now is too late for change it, because today is almost like a trademark of this channel. As i said in one of my answers to you, there are several interesting cafe racers on the market, like these: skyteam ace 125/Mash Seventy Five 125/SINNIS Cafe 125/Suzuki GN 125 Cafe Racer/HMC Herald Classic 125/Lexmoto Valiant 125. But after buying your bike, you can always change something according to your taste. Good luck. Cheers.
Look is an amazing bike...but the breaks are not good. Also the bike should have some sort of Minimalistic instrumentation for gas, check engine, miles and speed. Lovely bike but it can be improved.
+Marco Viti You're right about all you said, especially for bikes that will be ridden on the road. But i believe this bike is more like an exercise of styling, just to investigate how far the lines of a cafe racer can go. I recommend you to see my last video, in which you will find the "Road version" of this bike. Cheers.
Yeah indeed, a kind of robotic voice, but it ils really un uncommon kind of voice, you should do voices in commercials...! That bike is a piece of art, not particularly functionnal but, who cares ?
Mohamed Musthafa I understand your point. Unfortunately, there isn't any video footage available on the web about this bike. I hope you understand. Cheers.
lucas mason Come on!! You're not being fair. The voice in this video is probably the best "robotic" voice in the world. It is so good, that only english natives are able to discover that it isn't real. And this means, it is almost perfect. At least you found the bike interesting. Cheers.
The supermodel of cafe racers. A stunning, timeless, work of art.
This bike is art, I want to look at it again, and again and again.
Thank you for another awesome video!
Daniel Geraldo Thank you Daniel for your kind words. Just lik you, I never tire of seeing this bike. And i think it is why looks so timeless. Thanks for your comment. Um abraço.

Never ever has this term been used before, that it justifies what we see 'PERFECTION'
Ankit Parashar Thank you my friend. I'm glad you agree with such a such a powerful word like "Perfection". But according with the "divine proportion" formula, it seems it really is perfect. :) Cheers.
RACER TV well put my friend. It's spot on and in accordance with that magic number. And so deserves that tag.
I don't care what anyone says. The Yamaha XS 650 is one of the best looking vertical twins ever manufactured. This coming from a Triumph and Norton fanboy
Indeed it is. Some say that the XS 650 is the japanese Triumph. And i agree. :) Cheers.
Thanks. It was a pleasure. As in case of most of your productions :-)
Tomasz Bojko Hi Tomasz. Thank you for your kind words(as always). Cheers.
I couldn´t agree more with the comments you made about this magnificent looking bike.
Shame there is no video of it in motion, to see how it rides.
dingo416 Thanks my friend. I'm glad you agree with me. Unfortunately, there isn't any video material about this bike. But even so, it would be a crime not making a video about it. :) Cheers.

beautifull Motorcycle and thanks +RacerTV... I Love +RacerTv
emmm.. anyway... how to instal front cover shockbraker, It's looks so somooth...
Pie Genit Thank you for your kind words.
I think the front covers in the shockbreaker have to be installed during the front forks installation.
If you check the first image in this video, you will find 2 small openings in each cover, which allow the tightening of the screws.
Cheers.
Epah, linda linda linda!

BEAUTY can be measured by PROPORTIONS, guided by the GOLDEN NUMBER AND FIBONACCI SEQUENCE.
:) Cheers.

It probably has a very small battery under the fuel tank, although almost doesn't need it due to the existence of a kick starter.
Ok, small battery for just the turn signals and tail light, thanks bro.
My god that's a beautiful machine! Look out Triumph and Norton..lol
Lol.
Arysantana Santana Excelente perspectiva.
Beautiful !!!
Just Awesome
John Tapia Thanks. I'm glad you liked. Cheers.
GORGEOUS
Mario Copete Nuñez I'm glad you liked. Cheers.
this bike you buy in a jewelry store.
+TheMagnuxTube Lol. Nice perspective. Cheers.
Thank you
You are welcome my friend. My pleasure. Cheers.
So beautiful.
No wards didn't come.
Lol.
Cheers.
Bravo!!
That one piece tank/seat is superb. If that was a woman it would definitely be a Playboy Playmate!
+Geonious Lol. I completely understand your point, and i agree with you. :) Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
yeah a real hard ass playmate....
One word "WOW"
souvik mitra Good word. It says a lot. :) Cheers.
nice show bike, sadly not practical with the British weather with no mudguards & those tyres! Beautiful as a sculpture though :-) Thankyou!
inkitatus1 Yes, there are some limitations about this project. But we can always ride it in the shining sun days. :) Thanks for sharing your comment my friend. Cheers.
Beautiful, yes. Needs mirrors, indicator and some form of mudguard. Maybe rear (metal) tyrehugger? Else totally impractical.
Perfect
Timeless machine
Indeed. :)
RACER TV love that you reply. Thanks man.
BELLISSIMA !!!!
massimiliano parisella Davvero. Saluto.
Parabéns.
Merecia um melhor guidão
Obrigado amigo. :) Um abraço.
Please use ur own voice it's Allgood :) and where to buy 125 cc caferacers. I simply don't have The time and skill to build them by my own :) greetings from Germany! Ur 125 honda is awesome
ah,...all the tact of your nationality, first start with being polite then ask your question(again politely) we're all bike lovers here Frits☺
Good luck. Cheers.
ThatDutchguy Lol. I always thought that being polite, was more a British thing. :) Cheers.
RACER TV I love the voice don't change it.
The video could have been done horribly. It wouldn't detract from the beauty of the bike. Could you take a bad picture of Marilin Monroe?
Bruce Nicholas Loool. It is true. My work in this video was really very easy. :) Thanks for your funny prespective. Cheers.
OMG
wow, truly beautiful
ahmed El Ghassein Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you liked so much.
Cheers.
who wants to hear the sound
+ruslan abdul M Me tooooo. :) Unfortunately, i'm always limited to the photography/video material available by the Builder. Cheers.
pipes r nice. no front fender. incompleteness.
Yeah indeed, a kind of robotic voice, but it ils really un uncommon kind of voice, you should do voices in commercials...!
That bike is a piece of art, not particularly functionnal but, who cares ?
+Andrea Maccario Thank you. I'm glad you liked. (The voice and the bike):) Cheers.
👄
👍👍👍
BikerForce..Most Luvs.
The Header !?!,..HA Ha ha a a ))))
Only photo s no vedio 👎
Mohamed Musthafa I understand your point. Unfortunately, there isn't any video footage available on the web about this bike. I hope you understand. Cheers.
It's interesting but it's like listening to fuckin Siri
lucas mason Come on!! You're not being fair. The voice in this video is probably the best "robotic" voice in the world.
It is so good, that only english natives are able to discover that it isn't real. And this means, it is almost perfect. At least you found the bike interesting. Cheers.
