I lost my Boston 3.1.19 i miss her so much, she was my everything. She Saved my life. I woke up in the middle of the night and fell. She barked until my husband woke up and called 911. I was having a stroke,
I feel so bad for you all! I wish those little cuties a nice time in heaven. I lost my Shi Tzu he was only seven! I miss him so much. But I hope you have a great day!
My Boston Terrier, Murphy is my best friend. I can honestly say that I love that little dog more than I have any human. He has such a sweet, playful, aggressive nature that, if you are not careful, he will steal your heart with a single look or head tilt.
That must be something in the males, I have had 3 females and everyone of them love everything and everybody, no aggression at all. Sorry for the aggression problem, if you ever get another one try a female they are totally different. I know it's hard after you lose one because I lost my 18 year old girl 3 years ago and I got my other girl in December last year she just turned 1 yesterday. My Mesha was my heart and soul and it was hard to get another one. They're the best breed I love for a small dog.
I have a Boston and she is a bundle of joy. My husband has a Bull Mastiff and a French Mastiff and my Boston plays with them like they’re the same size as her. She’s stubborn in her obedience training and refuses to down unless I bring the treat to the ground. She has the smelliest farts and snores occasionally. She’s brindle where most Boston’s are black. She has the same white markings.
My ten year old BT has been the best dog. Once you own one you will become a fan of everything BT I always stop to say hi to every BT I come across with.
We fostered dogs for awhile. It got to the point we could not give them up. Molly was the last one we took in. A young Boston that my step daughter was trying to find a home for. Ain't gonna happen, Molly already has a home and is my little heat generator when it gets cold. She snored like a jackhammer going off in the next room, but she got older and the snoring got less and less.
Our precious 'Buggy' died of a brain tumor a little over a year ago. He was 13. We are still grieving and wonder if we'll ever get better. He was so special and loving and was such a joy to be around. Everybody was crazy about him. He was a rescue. Somebody threw him away in a plastic bag. How can people be so horrible to innocent completely dependent and helpless animals?! We're in our 60's now and have had many dogs. We loved them all dearly but Buggy was the most 'special' of them all.
So sorry for your loss... my boston, Gina, died from tumors at 12.5 almost one year ago as well, so I understand. Bostons are all such special pups, and take a place in our hearts.
My son rescued a brother and sister pair. The female has just about lost all her eyesight. The male had to have one eyeball replaced with a glass eye. Due to their heavy breathing, they do exhale some odorous smells from the other end! They are still fun to be with.
My Boston puppy is a big dog in a small dog body. He will play with any dog, any size and has no fear. Some growl at him and bear their teeth but he just plays harder, barking at them and jumps around. Hilarious. Last night he was barking and growling at his reflection in the electric fireplace, he's non-stop entertainment. So fun.
Most times, my late Boston, Holly's snoring and contortionist sleeping positions were adorable. However, at 3 a.m. when she could sleep and I couldn't, was not when I loved her snoring best.
I have two females. Got Jellybean as an 8 week puppy. She is my life! Then six years later I adopted Stella Bella, she is deaf. They both love me and get along very well with each other. They are the BEST!
There is no other dog to compare! They never stop learning. They are sole mates protective gentle kind perfect for children!!! I can't say enough of how perfect they are. My son Toby. My sister Cookie. They cry when you do they are people only true & kind
I love Boston Terriers, my heart having been owned by one for 12.5 years. Holly was very sweet, smart, charming, athletic, funny and fun loving. She snored, had a stubborn streak, passed gas and got hyperactive, but overall was a WONDERFUL companion and family member! She has passed on, but remains in my heart as a precious memory!
About Bostons being gassy. About 7 years ago I put my dogs on a raw meat diet. It has surely made a difference in the gas issue. But when your dogs eat raw meat that has been purchased from grocery stores and Walmart, you have to be careful to watch the sodium. content. It can't have added sodium in it.
We had a BT for 13 yrs, he’s gone now. He was a great guy, he loved to travel with us and we done a lot of it, we camped all over North America and he warned us of every thing from ground squirrel to Grizzly bears.:). We are actively looking for another one now

Yes, full of energy, love, curious, low maintenance, and these two never bark in public (only at home when chairing one another)!,
My Boston, Benji, is a cool little guy. Snores, cuddles and loves to play chase! I’ve owned different breeds small and big, but there’s something about a Boston Terrier that makes you never want to have another breed again. My guy is playful when it’s time to play and is lazy when I’m having a lazy day. He really is the perfect dog for me.
I had never heard of Boston Terriers until my son and his hubby got one. He is lively, funny, snores, snorts and farts but... I love my grandpuppy to bits.
I just got my 4th Boston Terrier. They are wonderfully cuddly, playful and sweet dogs. Smart and eager to please which makes them easy to train (when they have an owner who takes time to do so. However, I have met a few whose owners did not take the initiative to train them. In which case, their strong will and hyper personality makes them a handful. They are loyal to a tee and just as protective of their family. They are by far my favorite dog breed. They are truely a man's or a woman's best friend.
We just got a Frenchton and named her Bella, she looks more like a Boston Terrier even though she is 3/4 French Bulldog. She keeps our 85 lb. Staffordshire Terrier very busy. she is just a wonderful little being!
My Boston Terrier has a blanket that he likes to burrow under during colder weather. He also has a blue rubber bone that he loves to play tug of was, keepaway, and fetch with. He is very zany.
I have a Boston, his name is Tater because when I got him he was the runt and super super tiny. He has acid reflux, born with hereditary mange and severe allergies, he’s also prone to upper respiratory infections. I’m so happy I got him because if anyone else was to have my poor Tater wouldn’t have lived to see 8 months❤️
Have a Boston . He's only 9 weeks right now but extremely intelligent. He's already ringing a bell to go outside, going to his cage and sitting . I use a clicker for training and he listens very well. Although he is extremely stubborn when he feels like it.
I have a Boston. I wouldn't trade Otis for any other dog in the world. They make wonderful companions for people with handicaps. I have A.S. and he knows when my pain peaks and lays his paw on my shoulder and his head. Then when it passes he'll back off and do something silly to make me laugh. Dad takes him out for his energy relief and he loves to ride around too; when he comes back in he checks on me and wants to nuzzle with me. He is my shadow.
My husband got me a Boston Terrier for Valentine’s Day he is so smart and loving he has a all white face with a dark patch between his ears i always joked saying he has a Mohawk..... I’m so excited to hear it’s a Haggerty dot also know as the kiss of god.... it definitely matches his lovable personality

I have 2 non-papered bostons - great suburban/large apartment dogs (one tall+slender 22lb and one 34 lb brute). They are cat-like in that they are very affectionate, sleep a lot and play hard. Great with kids and are "shedless" hence the hot/cold sensitivity e.g. being outside for an hour is limited to ~15-25 Celcius or 60-75 farenheit without a jacket. Almost all of their downsides are due to a short nose (dental, breathing, temperature control) so a better choice would be one with as long of nose as you can find for both your dog's and wallet's sake. I really wish/hope breed will breed toward that target.
My Boston is the best thing ever. He doesn’t bark. He snores which is so cute lol he’s happy and loves to play fetch and tug o war. He does have spurts of energy and runs all over the house. He always turns his head when I talk which is so adorable. I love my Boston!!
My dog I got from the shelter is part Boston Bull Terrier and part black lab. But her Bully breed is most dominant so I'm trying learn more about the breed. Thanks for the great video!
Haven’t had my own dog since I was a child got a Boston October last year the most loving kind companion you could ask for never thought I would love something so much
Our Boston Terrier will be 10 this September. Love that dog dearly. I know my husband and I will be a mess when she crosses over that rainbow bridge one day. :'(
I have 2 Boston Terrier Chiahhau mix. Love them so much. They are sisters but from 2 different litters. They have such different personalities. The older one is so hyper and full of energy. Wants to play all the time. Loves to play fetch and obsesses over it. She is very verbal barking and whining. The younger one is very laid back and loves to cuddle. They play with each other constantly but she wants to just lay in my lap after while the older one doesn’t want to stop playing. The older one can be aggressive with other people and dogs do I have to watch her in public. The younger one is very nervous and may bark but mostly just gets shaking and wanting me to hold her. Never thought I could love dogs the way I have come to love them. Those eyes just say I am sorry I just love you all the time. Never had such sweet loving dogs before.

I have a Boston Terrier her name is Daisy she is the most precious little girl she's great with my grandchildren grandchildren can do anything to her and she plays with them she is good with people children they are just unbelievable loving animals add boxes and Dalmatians and Miniature Dobermans the Boston Terrier is my favorite❤
I have a Boston, my second, my first one Peanut I had her lacking 2 months of being 17 yrs, oh how I still miss her. My second is Maddie, I have had her almost 4 yrs. There is nothing in this world like having a Boston, I love the breed and just love my Boston's RIP Peanut.
My Boston is 10 years old and he continues to be a ball of energy. He is also very stubborn he snores very loud and that’s often how we find him because he likes to tuck himself into bed
I have a Boston Terrior, his name is Rocky, he’s super cute! And thanks a lot! These facts really helped meh know more about him. Thanks again! Have a nice day person reading this. ❤️
My Boston is the best dog I’ve ever had. He is 8 almost 9 name is Buddie. He’s the most loving and comical dog lol. He has that springy gallop when he follows me around the house that makes me laugh. He’s just all around sweet and loyal. He’s My whole heart .... He may be getting some type of eye problem in his left eye. It looks like it’s beginning to get hazy so going to get him to the vet. My wife and I are worried he won’t be able to see out the eye in time 😔
I had my Boston Terrier Leila for 12 years. 2 weeks ago she developed kidney disease and it was irreversible. We had to euthanize her and it was one of the hardest things I have had to do. I miss her so much. I am on a waiting list to get another Boston. This breed has stolen my heart.
We had one when I was growing up. I named him Booger due to his sneezing and snoring. I don't know if itis common in the breed, but Booger also farted.
My past couple of Bostons have had gas leaks from the front and the rear. It really makes the whole "American Gentleman" title null and void. That's okay with us, though. They've always made us laugh, even with the loud, smelly exhaust. My current one doesn't snore, but our pug makes up for it.
Next year I’m getting a Boston terrier for my birthday 🎂 and i live in pretoria i just wanna know where i can get a Boston terrier that is bred right my birthday 🎁 is February so if you know please tell me before then thanks
I’ve had Boxers for my entire life but as I age I am thinking of transitioning to Bostons. They seem to have that big dog personality in a smaller package.......
I am 75 years old & have my 7th Boston in my lifetime. Once you go Boston, you cannot go back. I don’t plan to be without one as long as I live
I lost my Boston 3.1.19 i miss her so much, she was my everything. She Saved my life. I woke up in the middle of the night and fell. She barked until my husband woke up and called 911. I was having a stroke,

Had Bostons most of my 73 years on this earth. There is no better friend.
I agree.. they are the best dogs ever...playful,funny and loyal
Ill drink to that ☕
Charles Baker so u would def know the answer to this, do they shed a lot? More or less or the same as a Frenchie?
They almost don't shed at al. Very little sheding.
Would u know if frenchies are the same? Or do frenchies shed a lot more than bostons

My Boston is so smart. After so many years together he still suprises me. And of course I love him dearly.
I have a Boston. She’s really smart, energetic and lovable! She’s my second one. I love this breed. She’s super with our special needs daughter.
I’d say all of them are Boston’s. Some just look a little chunkier that they should be.
Mine snores. It's adorable. If you do not think your Round Head's snoring is a wonderful and endearing trait, your soul is a dried empty husk...
Agree.

Yes, I want a American Gentleman! They are Awesome Dogs!
Let us know what specific characteristic your Boston Terrier has. Or if you don’t have one, are you planning to get a Boston soon in the future?
I hope that u are avare of the fact, that u show french bulldogs picutres too. Like in 2:15. Just leting you know. By the way the video is good.
Some of the dogs posted are french bulldogs. Bostons tend to have a thinner less stocky head/neck and body.
My wife and I are worried he won’t be able to see out the eye in time 😔
love, love, love them. Have had them as pets most of my life. Always had two. Most were rescue, oldest lived 18 years.
In all seriousness, I probably wanna adopt one and name him iggy :)
Why does everyone wanna call a Boston terrier iggy
Any advice on having two Boston's. I have a one year old and would like him to have a brother. Any thoughts on this would be great.
I have had two a couple of of times & my husband said they made us laugh every day as they played together. I miss that, as I only have one today.
My boston is amazing 😉
boston terriers are the best
I have 4
Expensive
Soooo jealous....
We had one when I was growing up. I named him Booger due to his sneezing and snoring. I don't know if itis common in the breed, but Booger also farted.
It is because of their short muzzle they are prone to being gassy
My past couple of Bostons have had gas leaks from the front and the rear. It really makes the whole "American Gentleman" title null and void. That's okay with us, though. They've always made us laugh, even with the loud, smelly exhaust. My current one doesn't snore, but our pug makes up for it.
Cody Rose Feed my BT chicken as the only protein, and never any corn. Cured his gas entirely.
@@majcherj1 huh that's cool
Yes they fart a lot
Mines is such a pain. He crapped in my cap, farted on my best friend's face. Scarfed all my coffee flavored gum..
Sue Bell
I am thinking of the same thing, lol
Brachys tend to have a lot of the same personality traits. It will be a good tradeoff. Good luck!
You will not be disappointed!
I just lost mt Boston, Annie. We were so close and I’m still recovering. She did live to 17 which is old. Looking for a puppy now.
Mine snore like somebody grandpa!!!! And she’s extremely smart.... kinda sneaky!!
I think that's a boxer at 1:20. I have both a boxer and a boston terrier.
