Banggood Trim Router www.banggood.com/custlink/K3mEFGVNSO Makita 18v Trim Router VS Milwaukee 18v Trim Router Review ua-cam.com/video/Kp6zUFaAPsM/v-deo.html
@Tools & Stuff. Thanks for another great review. Sorry but I can't live with the Banggood's shortcomings (no scales for depth measurements, battery hard to remove, bad collet design). Both the Makita and Milwaukee are better choices. Why fight with my tools. They're suppose to help me get work done and also have some pleasure in doing so. Hope you and your family stay safe and well.
You should not underestimate chinese people.... I visited numerus factories in China : they always ask for the quality level you agree to pay... You would be bewildered to know some hight quality famous brand who manufacture theirs products in China... I you want compete with someone, you have to actually know it to win....
@@yvonf2312 Actually I have a political problem with the ruling CCP. And massive propaganda in China that looks as world war 2 ended just years ago instead if over 70+ years. I am sure quality control can be maintained but the Evergrand default and the current influence of Xi on many sectors of Economy that leads to power shortages and problems in rice production is a dangerous for economy. The Chinese people are victims of this regime but this regime also threatens to invade Taiwan and threatens Australia so we should look if it wise to have to many dependencies on China in our supply chains.
Right now is the best time to buy one of these type of routers. The Makita or the Milwaukee. With Black Friday deals going on right now, this is the time to get them. I bought the Milwaukee!
@Tools & Stuff, have you tried any of the hydraulic impact drivers out? I haven't seen the makita brushless one over here in the states just curious as to how it performs compared to the others
I was thinking of buying the fake, I have the 110v makita one and hoped the bases would fit, thanks for the review, I'll definitely be giving the fake a wide birth
Hey nice video! where did u get that speed square from? I’ve got a 12” empire one but it’s got imperial measurements. Haven’t been able to find a metric one
Maybe it is supposed to take the snide Makita battery! I have the Makita and tbf they are supposed to be 'trim' routers not supposed to be cutting as wide & as deep at you did, I leave a roundover bit in my Makita because it quick & east to run down a board, the others go in my bosch mid size router
Banggood Trim Router It is necessary to slightly grind the place of the cutter seating on the router. Otherwise, it will jam and it is very difficult to replace the cutter.
I have a fakita router from banggood, awful tool for anything accurate and the switch is dangerous, the bolts for the fence and depth were replaced with ones that bite within a couple of days, and odly enough there is an led inside mine for some reason, but you can only see it through the vents at certain angles. Ok for roundovers but thats it really, the shaft has a bit of wobble to it so accuracy is just a dream.
Your derogatory comments and insinuations regards this precision trim router from China is not appreciated ..... NOT. LOL. Enjoyed your sense of humor and snicker remarks.
Well. I guess they are naming these kinds of routers as 'laminated routers' for a reason. The moment you use to make a groove with a bigger router bit in wood, they just don't respond well. Probably you will have a bigger router one day or another (as I was thinking for myself). now that you have the cheaper one, yes I could use it as a rounder corner, lol.
That banggood trimmer is a dead ringer for the first gen Makita trimmers (corded). The aluminium pitting is just from poor quality aluminium and lower quality control. These types of 1/4" tools are laminate/trimmers, not routers - so asking them to perform on a 20x15mm pass is not really a valid test - you'll burn any of them out in no time. Also a battery operated trimmer is always going to struggle with torque Vs the cordless alternative. Same with any top-end 4" grinder - if you don't want to be changing batteries every 3 min, go corded. My corded ozito is a stallion compared to my battery Makita. As with everything, horses for courses.
Why don't you lower the revs on the Makita and the Milwaukee on that large diameter cuts? I think they both will make it then without cut offs. Such cuts are not even meant to be made with 30k revs..The speed control on a router is probably the best feature. I have both the Makita and the Milwaukee and a corded Bosh 600W ( with no revs control). The Bosh struggles and gets very hot after only a couple of passes with larger diameter roundovers or coved bits. The cordless ones go through the same cuts like butter on speed 2 or 3. And that may be the main reason why the Bangood did better than the Makita - it's max revs just may be lower - like 25k or so..
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL Yes, you mentioned they were at speeds at a certain point - but on the video demonstrations was not shown which on what speed was. And this makes a huge difference.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL yeah, I'm actually wondering about that as well. You mentioned the Makita being on the wrong speed the first time, proper speed second time. But which is which? I understand a lower speed setting on a gearbox means higher torque. But haven't got a clue how that works with electronic speed control..

Hi friend alway measure with quality in term of money with material. If the router have power to cut smooth and nice finishing that it.
So many of the cheapo knockoff tools being brushless shows how much the tool brands are scamming you by marketing brushless as a high end feature.
Really enjoyed the moment at 13:05 - and then 13:55 :D cheers from Germany, great work again
Even if you had it set up on a table like you suggest, the task of changing out the battery becomes even more difficult. It will drive you mad.
I do have the Makita for over one year so smooth 😁😁
They should manufacturer again in Japan in my opinion ..

Was hoping for this review. Thanks!
No problem!
Thanks for the review I already ordered one hopefully the battery fit's better
This looks like someone has 3d printed a makita
Don't think that aluminium is like that from welding / grinder spray, more likely a poor casting and machined regardless anyway.
Exactly what i need to know! Thanks.
Kind regards,

I got an hydraulic one yesterday. Not telling you which one yet...
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIALLooking forward to finding out
It sounds dangerous that machine from hell.
Hmm the grinder spark sprayed shaft seems to help as a surface grip treatment?
I was thinking of buying the fake, I have the 110v makita one and hoped the bases would fit, thanks for the review, I'll definitely be giving the fake a wide birth
I use to misspell Wide Birth also, but it is berth not birth (just being an ass).

I had the same problem so I got this one www.banggood.com/custlink/Dvmh5Wk9k1
Perspectivas para todo los bolsillos.
Buen video. Saludos desde Perú.
Thanks I was curious
Good review thanks stay safe !
Thanks, you too!
Huh!? You leave your dirty bits in your routers? I hope you change your underpants more often. 💩🤣
Do you clean your bits every time you get them out?
Do they make a 40 volt router yet?
No. But Hikoki make 2 different 36v ones.

Think milwauke won that, but makita as I have the batteries wins.. Cheap tat bangood is horrible will give it a miss. Great video. 👍
Thanks 👍
👏🤙🤣🤣 haha you're the best man. Love your content always great to see you drop another vid
Cheers!

Is this router really 850Watt? I order the router as a result of this movie. Thank you.
No. Battery tools can't really be measured in watts.
16:32 being this aussie!

they really are marketed more towards being a laminate trimmer for sure but if it fits in the collet anything is fair game..
Hi Rodrigo, I have a Triton 3.25hp 1/2" Router. I really should get around to doing a review of that thing...
I imagine, how's it to compared to the ryobi brushed router.? 😀🙏
I make a point of not buying tools with bang in the name 🤣🤣🤣
Rulers, squares and others, are excellents
Dude you can just sand paper that battery mount and fix it, it will take 2 minutes. I dunno why people cant handle such simple problems...
I don't get how people don't understand what YT vids are...
Thanks!
Cheers again Bruce 👍
What is it about Kiwis and gum boots...at home? Safety boots maybe. 🤪
They are steel caps
For the price of these brushless tools its not bad,but precision and comfort... No

Good tool for the 300lb dull apprentice
Stumpy screwdriver.........
What did the tiny screw on the banggood one dit when turned?
