There are 2 things you can do, you can make that other program use another port than 80, or you could change the apache port to something else, but if you do that, you need to write :XXXX (whatever port you decide to use) in front of every url to access your website. Some programs like Skype loves to use port 80, you can easily change this in the skype preferences.
just one question. i am completly new to this whole thing. is the config.lua files directly connected with the phpmyadmin, in mycase from xampp files or how is it possible for the program to read the word accountmanager for example?

are you sure you set it properly? As long as the router is pointing to the correct internal ip, with the proper ports forwarded, it should work. Unless (however unlikely, i have heard of it happening) your isp has blocked specific ports, like 80 or even an entire port range. In which case you would have to call then and ask for an unblock.

I don't know where to download the forgotten server. I only see "Nightly packages of The Forgotten Server (official / master)" but it's different from what's showed in the video. Do you know where I can get 10.98 forgotten server? I can't seem to find a download for the GUI.

It appears the router is using port 80 for itself, try to port forward port 80 to your local IP address instead, this should make them see your OT instead of the router.
Try using IP 127.0.0.1 on the IP changer as well as config.lua to connect to it on LAN. If you want to host globally (for everyone to connect) you need to use your global IP, and then port forward the ports so its possible to connect to it.
Sorry for the double post: I couldn't set up the IPN on PayPal; the stupid panel won't show the same options as on the video. That would be your Global IP. Google "what's my ip" and you should see it. Though if your IP is dynamic it won't last forever, so if people around the world join, they may only join that IP for a while. You can call you service provider and request a static IP or use a site like a no-ip website and set up server space through them. They make sure everyone pings the same IP all the time.

I can log into my server from the host computer, but not my laptop (same network), I've portforwarded correctly, the config.lua is correct ... I just can't seem to get onto my server, but I can see the character screen. Any ideas, anyone?

Hi! Great tutorial. I have a problem tho, at 10.26 when you run "The forgotten Server.exe" I get a popup saying "Cannot run program because computer is missing MSVCR110.dll. You can fix the problem with a reinstall of the program." Is it the forgotten server map or my computer?

Hvilken OT? gi link så kan jeg sjekke ut koden. Når du kjører en OT lokalt på pcen din, kan du som regel koble deg mot den med IP 127.0.0.1

Do you have a AAC that work for 7.4 tibia? (downgraded 7.72 nostalrius) that uses account numbers instead of account name?
Yep (Normal Znote AAC works for that), but you gotta use Nekiros downgraded, not nostalrius. Im working on it right now fixing some minor stuff.

Yeah I heard several people mentioned this. Chances are that you need a verified account to use them on your site.

can you make a tutorial on how to move it from localhost or 127.0.0.1 to a real domain name, so others can go on to the site.

you don't need to, just run the .exe file called "UniController", the UI is diferent because the version is newer but works just the same
