Trump was on point but he did get sidetracked rebutting Biden instead of answering the questions asked…the moderators did a fair job; not fact checking, letting the candidates use their remaining time while reminding them of the original question. Trump looked genuine and my biggest take away is that he just plain cares more about the country than any other establishment politician.
The fact the poll showed that 33% of Americans are speacial needs divergent was the biggest take away for me, i actually think its higher, but now we have a measurement at least 😂
Trump is excellent for our nation. Not perfect, but what he does affects us the most in positive ways. He's a peace keeper too which is a big point that most any other candidate can not say for themselves as they're part of the war machine.

About what you would ask Trump. He addressed the mistake he made with some people he appointed in a previous interview. He said I was new at it. I had to learn who was good and who wasn't, and he fired people that he could at the time. So he admitted that he learned who was good and who wasn't. It's out there just takes a little research.

He is never going to lay down a complicated, intricate analysis of issues. But he did the main things well last night, and he came off as very reasonable on issues like abortion. There were also multiple times where instead of answering the question he was asked, he instead talked about how great he was on some other topic or kept talking about the prior question. Plus calling Biden a Palestinian was such a weird play
I don't really think his answer of leaving abortion to the states satisfied anyone leaning towards the pro-choice side of the topic, especially considering how every state which actually put it to a popular vote saw pro-choice victories even in safe red states like Kansas. Leaving it to the states basically means giving state lawmakers the power to decide this issue for their constituents even though the evidence seems to point to republican voters themselves being somewhat split on the issue. I personally feel like this debate was more of a Biden L than a Trump W, but we're still choosing between the oldest presidential candidates in history and that doesn't necessarily mean that Trump completely has it together either even though he's more coherent than Biden, not to mention how both could deteriorate over the next four years. This entire situation is so fucking sad it's honestly kind of funny.

Come on Dave, you have to give Trump some credit. One thing he said that popped out that you can relate to is that he wish he didn’t have to do this. Don’t you think he would just be better off finishing his life in luxury playing golf and not being in court everyday? You didn’t run because you had a kid and a family to worry about. If you were a serious contender at the level of trump, and I think you could be, how scary would it be to have the whole government coming after you? How would it feel to go after your family or kids? Just put yourself in trumps shoes. Imagine having billions and being able to have your family set for generations and you choose to do this. You choose to go against the most powerful government in the world that could do some really bad things to you including imprisoning you or worse. Most people wouldn’t run and just live their luxurious life have most of the country still like you but he chose different. Now he has half the people absolutely hate him including people that adored him once. Bottom line is trump did what you didn’t with a lot more to lose and Again I don’t claim you but give the guy the credit.

The reaction to the debate concerns me most. Peoples are prioritizing electability with Joe rather than the urgent issue of protecting the country from World War 3.
It's because the norm for our elections is a lesser of two evils argument, with the other side being the devil. The only real exception I can think of since the 90s was 2008 where a lot of people voted for Obama because they legitimately liked him.
