I've finished concrete a hand full of times. I've always said that my biggest problem is I chase it from 98% to 90% going for the little imperfections. Turns out I've never been close to 98 or even 90%. This is amazing.

Absolutely flawless!! I've been in concrete a long time. The skill it takes to keep up and not ruin the concrete, hand polish, hand cut that patern and lightly brush is just skill level 11. Well done!

It looks really sexy. My driveway just ate a pint of Haagen-Daas in shame. I hope there's a gutter in front of the garage door, though, because that diagonal cut heads downhill straight into the garage.

@@guppy360 I'm guessing the camera just isn't picking up the brushing. I think that's what is giving it the 2-tone diamond look is brushing it in opposite directions, not alternate color cement. Sometimes the editing or camera setting smooths out things like brushing texture.
Is anyone going to mention that it is texture so good that you think it’s not. Cause the shirry textures your used to seeing. How do you think they made it look like it goes in different directions????
How the hell did they get the reflections to show the checkerboard pattern? Is it the direction they smoothed it because if so, that is such an insane attention to detail that seems like it would disappear after a few years.

Fresh concrete always looks nice with that little bit of moisture 'sheen' reflecting off it. Give it a week and it'll look like any other concrete driveway slab. Anyway, nice work whoever did that pour.
there is a reason you do not see polished concrete on driveways and streets as this home owner will soon find out all it takes is a bit of rain and your car wont pull out of the driveway he will need slippery when wet signs plastered all around the driveway
