You guys are cooler than Rodan! I am 55, American. I saw this movie when i was 18 and it blew my mind. I was just assholing around on UA-cam when I ran in to Roy Budd's and then yours. Fantastic. Thanks.
You're Genius Dude...Great choice of tunes, Sound Musicianship and Improvisation all round and so Comical! Hats off to You! Love it. All the best, Ade.
I want you guys to play that at my wedding AND my funeral. Tasty version. Class. And the camera angle on the Uke'...you're a big man and possibly in good shape.
You are a master of restraint and timing. You can really build some tension/release action. Your production techniques get better and better. You pick great songs and play them well. You should go "pro," unless that would ruin it... in which case you should stay the course and keep cranking them out for the betterment of mankind (or at least UA-cam!). You deserve to be featured. You are my youtube hero (Fin too!). Have a nice day.
I just got a great idea: why don't you guys come to LA, stay at my place and we'll kick back in the evenings, eat, drink, and make music with/for friends! September is good for me.
Listen, the only reason I came back to this you tube was to find out who played it. And I won't leave until I do. You understand? You are a big man, and you are in good shape. Is it a full time job? You really are behaving yourself.
@GUGUG I don't understand any of that but I hope you won't mind if I also put it on my mp3. I have just made a number of films on the locations of Get Carter which I will be posting soon on you tube once I get around to it! Would you mind if I used your music as the background?
Since you are a production nerd I'll tell you that the audio is always recorded on the camera mic and then layered and mixed simply with no eq or effects added, so i usually just make do with what I get soundwise, but Im glad you think this one worked out ok
Born 1962 from Wallsend right where this movie
was filmed and stumbled upon this tremendous piece of music alhamdullilah
My brother would have loved it! Sounds really good.
Peter C. Budd
This is just spectacularly good. Whenever I think of the Get Carter theme I think of this version.
