The shack with the boost is still alive and well...great to see you and your Z again! Ive always called "fluting" in the glass lens. Wire wheel the bucket surface rust. And use " reformer" by rustoleum available at walmart home depot and lowes . It sprays on watery but dries thick and smooth and "batman black".Ive used reform on both my Z cars over 3 years nothing has come back...that is "REFORMER" BY RUSTOLEUM.( YEAH. I know your thinking crap paint...this Reformer is kick ass ...use it) The inside retainer ring should be painted first with reformer ( halts rusting....dont sand it, its a great sealer primer , then I like painting the inside head lamp retainer with " hammer- rite" silver. Its a tough spray bomb paint. (Found walmart, lowes, homedepot) Steel wool is great to clean up. A good car wax ontop will help protect Alot. Never be shy using wax get it on there. Use good wax like Mothers , Maquires excetra...not crappy turtle wax. I still think your car is in the top list of kick-ass Z cars. And I love this car in cinematic footage its always looks "RIPE"
@@BoostShackSpeedshop yeah man that stuff works well. Just dont want to sand it after its dry its best to leave it as is and prime or paint over it. I painted a surface rusted truck bumper at work. To give it a healthier appearance . Just a few coats of REFORMER It stayed black and rust free over a year.....before a coworked totaled the truck driving it. That truck was outside 24/7 the reformer performed extremely well.

Added to the list. I'm with you on the led's in old cars. Just looks weird. Thanks for doing the research.
Thank you! Also agree with this look.
The old style head lamps look more classy
