Absolutely terrible umpiring and there should be a change in this area of the game as I believe players should be able to challenge not only the point but also faults called against them. Imagine saving 6 match points with sheer will and efforts just to be robbed an amateur mistake by the umpire (or potentially intentional). We need a VAR - instant review in the future, where the referee reviews the decision and overrule. And maybe like they get only 1-2 times only to do this for the entire match, so that it’s balanced

I don't understand why players continue to play after the umpire makes incorrect calls like this. They should just sit down at their rest bench until the problem is fixed. By obeying the umpire and letting these poor calls slide, it has now become a norm among umpires to make whatever call they want and insist the players play on - they get away with it too easily with no consequences. If the player doesn't play on and insists a replay be shown, then the umpire will be pressured to do something - it's their job to make sure play is continuous.

Unfortunately, all of the players are short sighted. They want change, but they also want a chance to win the current tournament. They'd rather let the umpire walk over them and hope that they'll make a comeback in the match. Over years and years of this relationship between players and umpires, it has now become the expectation that players will eventually concede the point and play on. Sabar dan ulet jadi senjata kemenangan ginting👍
Itu poin ginting ke 23, china protes, dari pengamatan saya, itu poin se harus nya buat china, itu dimana letak salah nya, ko ginting yg nambah poin??
I just don't understand it. Why don't even have a playback. It's 2022 now. Shoud be have camera form every angle. Stop hiding the truth!
I agree, the call was controversial and should have been a replay, and there should be a challenge against the judge since by naked eye anyone can make mistake as this is a fast game. This challenge against judge should be upheld in upcoming tournaments, but I feel chou should have forget about that and focussed on the next point,he was way distracted otherwise he would have won
not easy to say to forget it my guy, that was a very crucial point after all the effort he put in, after the call wasmade it was obvious chou was going to lose the game.
@@rdweesit your right,it is not easy to forget at such a crucial stage but what else you could do,the umpire decision was final at the moment , you have to put it behind you,the match wasn't over then, you never know, it was a 50-50 chance,he did save many match points earlier.
@@salmansyed9147 chances of him winning was not even 50% lol after all that, then to suffer a mental blow like that, it was pretty obvious he want going to win that.
@@rdweesit ong easier said than done
Can umpire sleep well tonight?
Umpire will sleep well, CTC will not. The wry smile on the service judge's face really, really pissed me off and I'm not even a CTC fan.
Paling suka liat ini ber xx krn ctc tragedi 😅
