Richard well done on the Fabrication… that story about the fingers being trapped in those loop type fittings is true… I know of a case where a young lad lost half of his index finger that way.
Great bit of eingenerring there Very good and informative video And yes i noticed the bracket to hold the arms up when using the tipping pipe, it adds a nice finishing touch
👌👌👌 trust you’ll be taking a few mm off the eye of the bailey with a flap disc before you start on harvest, you won’t want that coming off full of silage or grain 😂💪
Lovely job! 😍 Making it very "modern" with pickup hitch. Over here in Ireland and my 74 straight axle has a stool hitch. I don't know if you ever had them there in UK?
@@MrZimmaframe running it though my head???? possibly? You would have to change some of the studs in the trumpet housing to make room for the brackets. I would say possibly.
@@Mr_b_yorkshire_farmer Very interesting, I’ll have to find out what threads and length stud I need, shouldn’t be too hard find out hopefully. Appreciate the reply Rich.
The lift hitch is too far forward under the tractor which limits the turning radius of the tractor and trailer when they are hitched together. Notice how the green paint is scuffed from the drawbar of the trailer from the tractor wheel scrubbing the paint off during a tight turn.

Your truck in the background - is that an Australian version Atkinson?
Yes it sure is. It can be found in other videos.
Interesting. So did you import it or build your own cab to Aussie spec?@@Mr_b_yorkshire_farmer
@@cosmowaddell130 I just got the cab in from Australia.
Would that hitch fit a MF 35 23c? Very interested to know

How do you lift and lower pickup hitch
@@mattyj8 using the quadrant lever for the 3 point hitch.
Do you sharpen your own drill bits? Looks like it works great
Yes I try too.

No it's not
The hitch is in the correct place
The paint rubbed off the drawbar is from a different tractor
Is this the same hitch as mf 550 would have
I think it’s it is very similar.
