I applaud you for 'keeping it real' and not changing yourself for anything👋You do you as they say😉One hobby I enjoy is writing and I truly believe that reading a physical book as opposed to listening to an audio book brings the reader closer to the storyline and the characters-like you mentioned. There is something about turning from one page to the next that brings an element of surprise and anticipation as to what happens next. I'm hoping miss Luna continues on a healthy path!!🦮♥
i do the same thing julia i attach voices to characters in a book im reading. sort of act it out in my head as im reading makes it more interesting.

I only ever listened to audiobooks on long trips, until I had my daughter last summer. Since then audiobooks have helped keep me entertained while still engaged with her. Plus, I really felt like I was losing one of my hobbies and defining characteristics since I have so much less time to read. I think I’ll read more and listen less again as she gets older, but right now is definitely an audiobook season!
Julia, I enjoy your content. This will be my last comment for awhile. I, watch a few UA-cam channels. Yours is in the top two. But I have had a change in my life path. So, always a "thumbs up" on any posts that I like. Which so far has been all that I have watched. Enjoy that you share family trips, too! Be safe. Enjoy life!

A small tip with Miss Luna, be very aware of the the skins infections will be very common , my 22 year jack Russell was very common with him on his paws between the nails. no medicines would help, I found two simple things,unscented wipes and don’t be doing a
lot of water play. I felt so sad for him but I finally got the infections under control but it took me years.he past away October 26 2022.

OMG!! I was born with severe Hemophilia A. I had a liver transplant due to hepatitis C in 2013. No longer a hemophiliac, due to my new liver. Prayers for you as you go through life.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I had a job change last year and love it. It's with the same agency I have been but a new position. It was much needed. Be happy with whatever you are doing
Learn more about Luna's food. I had a boxer with bad allergies. I did lots of research and found a food that cured him of all skin issues.
Thankfully we have her on hypoallergenic food! Her allergies were WAY worse before we switched her food and it’s definitely helped!
Hello Julia, you can move to Colorado or Las Vegas as your roots as well as Eric’s roots. You can also move to California like Los Angeles or Santa Barbara or San Diego. They have the best weather year round.

It’s the food
I just heard about a school that does DEAR once a day. Drop.Everything And Read. I believe it’s for 10 minutes, the principal gets over the intercom and says dear. Teachers and students participate.

My best friend has that bleeding disease! She rarely has any issues with it. She just has to take a huge amount of iron!

Julia, as far as the dog and having a retriever with multiple allergies and skin issues. Ask your vet about a Cytopoint Injection. We give monthly and it works better than anything else and results can take as little as 24-48hrs post injection.
Nice to hear Luna is geting better.
I recently got into podcasts and I love listening to people talk about the business side of content creation and UA-cam. My favorites are Pretty Basic and Making Moves with TK. I believe they also post their podcasts on UA-cam if you prefer watching them talk instead of the podcast format.
I'm creating a second channel outside of travel too! I think its a great idea so we can have more creative freedom outside of the travel niche!

We had a lot of experience with a lab with allergies. Challenging but got it under control with the help of University of Pennsylvania Vet school.

Great video Julia. I love your channel and wouldnt change a thing. Hope Luna feels better soon. Skin allergies for dogs are sad because they itch a lot and you dont know what to do to help them. Our lab had skin allergies and they finally found out it was food related. She was allergic to chicken products. Changed her food and she has been great for several years now. Good luck with Luna. Luna is so cute. So sad to hear she has a rash. My dad use to live in Haslet, TX. He told me when he was there you could buy a nice house for $150k 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom, 2400 square feet. That was then this is now which is 3 to 4 times the price. Have you heard of Haslet, TX? It's west of Fort Worth.
Yes! We have friends who used to live in Haslet. Unfortunately the traffic over there has gotten horrendous and the housing prices have gone up astronomically, but we'll see! Luna is doing SO much better now, thank you :)

Our dog had bad allergies and we narrowed it down to chicken. So now since we have taken all chicken out of his diet his skin has cleared up and his ears and eyes aren’t as itchy either.

Has Luna been checked for a chicken allergy?
Our Golden retriever was very sensitive to chicken. Would get itchy skin and rashes if he ate anything with chicken

Hi Julia, I hope Luna gets well soon, If you're thinking of moving, have you considered Frisco? Frisco is a really nice, clean and safe city with plenty of good restaurants, and many nice parks to take Luna to; Also Frisco is a quick short drive to DFW.

Good luck figuring out things for later this year! I love audiobooks, especially ones that are read by the author (just listened to Molly Shannon read her memior) but can see how it would be different if you're not used to them. Also, I recommend podcasts This American Life and Freakonomics. Safe travels!
Just an FYI your dimension if your trip to Chicago I don't know if it was this Christmas the last Christmas that you really enjoyed it and if we had any tips to let you know I live near DFW I'm retired from Delta tower but I love going home the one thing I would say about Chicago is take Eric to a Cubs game... Totally immersed yourself in the culture, you guys will love it... make it a day game though, good luck!
North Carolina is a nice place to live. It usually has good weather. I love the affordable housing. I've owned a house for a little over a year now. You can get a brand new townhome with a garage and driveway for $250k to $325k in Haw River NC. It’s a nice and safe area. If you go from Greensboro to Durham there is affordable housing. Not sure you've been to NC. I just looked on realtor you can find a house from $350k to 400k for a house in Haslet. That's way more than than my dad remembers. 😂

He had injections every month. But last year we stopped as he reacted badly with them 😮 , we have to bath him every week .

I can totally relate to the point of limitation towards your profession. Currently im facing the near end of my studies and have to ask myself the same question and still, i can´t restrict myself to a specific job in the field of tourism. There are just too many suitable or interesting areas to put boundaries for myself. Definitely got a very thorough insight on the up-and downs of a flight attendant through your videos. Anyway got some more options i got interest in, decision making not easy though 😅
