Guys Maitreyi is born on 28th of December and was 18 when the show's first episode aired and Darren's birthday is 27th of April which is when the first episode was aired in 2020 so he turned 29 that day which means while filming he was 28, so she wasn't younger than 18, myb month to 18 at most, when they started filming and their kiss scene was later in the series, so I think he should not be responsible for any illegal activity since this was just for the job, and I'm sure they were both okay with it because they wouldn't sign the contract otherwise, and idk if they had to do the kissing for chemistry reads while being casted and auditioned, but it surely wasn't illegal while they were filming
