I sure hope she will. My friend Shilei her littlest girl loves shelling out of all her kids and she was into shelling when she was born so she grew to love it too. Her friend little Ella is right there now too I hope 🐚❤️
Hey Roxann 👋🏻🏖️ Some days and weeks are slower than others, but this just proves that there is always something to find and fun to be had. Congratulations on your first Wentletrap; it was quite exciting to see because I didn't know this species existed!! What a cutie! Actually, I think I was more interested in the Crown Conches; I know they are much more common over there, but they hold more intrigue to me for some reason 😂? Thank you for sharing these wonderful beach days 🏖️ It was lovely to see the little one having sooo much fun! I honestly think that's what makes a trip worth it 😁 Thank you so much for sharing 🏖️
Yes, I definitely believe in that. There’s always something to be found even if it’s just peace of mind and relaxation hearing the water! I really hope my little Ella grows a love of the beach… because most likely end up being with me a lot on these walks b4 she starts school. I’m going to try to pay more attention for the little wentletraps- especially the brown-banded ones! Thx shell friend for watching ❤️ Happy shelling this week!
Thank you!!! Yes, I sure hope the west coast doesn’t run into too many issues with this storm! We only got a little rain from the storm being on the east coast 🙏🏼 If I can get away this week I’d like to venture on over to the west coast to do some after storm shelling.
Great video!!! I bought just the scoop on Amazon and then took it to Home Depot and got a wooden handle. Much cheaper than buying the whole thing. I thought they were very expensive. Just a thought. 😊❤
Thx for that tip! Yeah, i’m definitely looking into getting one for the East Coast here 👍🏼 I’m forever just swiping at the shells in the water. That would work better ❤️🐚
Ohh I forgot to mention the sea fleas!! They're incredible; I think I'd heard of them before, but I didn't actually know they were crabs, I thought they were insects. The big one was incredibly cute; I almost wish they were house pets!
Yeah, they are pretty neat those mole crabs 👍🏼 my daughter, Skyler, and her friends faithfully play with them every single time they go to the beach 🏖️
Enjoyed your walk! And I love that you found a wentletraps! I’ve found them on calm summer days off Litchfield Beach in SC. I’m surprised at how our eyes can hone in on something so small amongst the rest of the sand and shells.
I was so surprised!!!! I’m going to take some time at some point and do nothing but search for them at that same beach. I can’t believe I found that one! Maybe if I just sit and concentrate on small areas at a time I maybe will find more. Thx for watching!
Another great video! Great finds and your family is so adorable, God bless you all! I went shelling with my daughter and she found 2 shark teeth at Juno beach near the pier! So excited for your shells, the info about sand fly, very good, I learn something new. We found a sea bean, looks like the brown burger but i heard some people also call it, donkey eye? Is it true or is another seed that looks similar?
Oh my goodness thank you! I’ll let them know of your compliment ❤️ Yes, God is good and we don’t take things for granted. Happy for your daughter! I was shelling there once by that pier and a guy found a huge tooth near to me-crazy pretty! The teeth are for sure there. Blessings to you and your daughter 🌊🏝️🐚 Those hamburgers come in a red-brown (Mucuna urens) and brown variety (Mucuna sloane) and yes donkey eye is a nickname. They have other nicknames too: deer-eye, horse-eye, ox-eye or sheep-eye 🙃😂
@@FloridaBeachWalks aww thank you for your kindness! After the video I did research on the beans, I was amazed! I’m glad you’ve been there before, I enjoy the music of the shells when the waves pass through them!! God creation!
Hahahaaa well go figure 👍🏼 I really need one of those and just keep it in the trunk for times like that! I’ve seen a guy using one once while his companion was searching for shells 🐚 They looked like they were fishing too.

Ella is just a doll! I am sure she is gonna be a master sheller like her mama!
I sure hope she will. My friend Shilei her littlest girl loves shelling out of all her kids and she was into shelling when she was born so she grew to love it too. Her friend little Ella is right there now too I hope 🐚❤️
I just love those darkly banded Florida crown conchs. Lots of patience needed I bet to find the empty ones.
They were so nice. I don't find too many that dark. Thx so much for watching!
