Just got one off these and stoked with it. Its really chunky heavy high quality build the drivers weigh a ton the SSL diodes sparkle the light is crisp and high par blurple. ATM these are rated by many as the top light or its larger sibling 1100 is which is 2 if these. I know its subjective but you add IR and UV supplements and its a great set up. If the price is off putting it is off set that Osram are very bright and lose less than 1% over time are rated at 100 000 hours and these have very solid drivers with a system that can be expanded and digitally controlled. I am using this with cobs cxb 3590s its a sweet spectrum plus all cree and osram
11 POUNDS!!! That’s a lot of hardware on there trying to balance out the heat ratio that should have gaps in spacing in between the fixture which could have increased the footprint. Come on George. Control is really nice though
@@6530517 Alex is right. That's what happened to me. The light is extremely powerful but it made more heat than my ceramic metal halide HID lighting and it is not gentle on the eyes when you have the red and blue spectrums which come maxed out like he said. It will still grow beefy plants on default if you can withstand the aforementioned issues however. I'm just ordering a controller now...Had this thing for over a year and didn't realize it could do white light!

Or just run a couple LEC's for a fraction of the price.
So if you just have the light output one of the three colors, are you only using a proportionately lower wattage?
Small mistake mate- up to 1000 light units not 100 :) very good review. Definitely its a game changer. Great job guys !

can i use the light without the Controller or what? and how the light work when i don't use the controller?
If you use the light without the controller it will be too hot because it is set on Max and you can not lower the lights.
