I build almost exclusively with rotation snap and don't even like going free-hand. Angle snap ensures I'm getting the same element every time if I follow the same 4m piece "formula" I've created for different ride sections. Also, I actually 11.25 for the angle snap, not 15. It's not as hard as you think! Think of it this way: when the angle snap is on 15 degrees, it'll take 6 track pieces to complete a 90 degree turn (15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90) but if you set it to 11.25, it'll take 8 pieces instead (11.25, 22.50, 33.75, 45, 56.25, 67.50, 78.75, 90). Basically that just means it takes more track pieces to create elements, and thus the coaster will be more "swooping" and have less g-forces. But of course, this doesn't work for every coaster type. For coasters over 220ft tall, I can't seem to ever keep the g-forces on my opening drops below 5 g's, which isn't very realistic. So then, it becomes necessary to think outside the box to keep g-forces low. Nice tutorial! I might try to incorporate some of this into my style!
I always use snapping, so i turn and bank the track left by 15 degreeand lift it up by 15 degrees. I then land it and stop the turning, Repeat at the exit but in reverse
I’m just waiting for the people that don’t understand this is a tutorial and there like ThIs Is NoT a ReAliStIc CoAsTeR
And I will respond that the tutorial is about how to smooth your coasters. Says nothing about how to make a realistic coaster lol
still waiting… a year later… where are these people?!
@@andrewgoldin675 this is not even a realistic coaster!!!!
auto snap is a great tool to maintain symmetry throughout your inversions, especially for custom made loops
yes! I turn it on and off depending on what I'm making
I knew nothing about the autocomplete trick, thanks so much
This is by far the most thorough video of sinon planet coaster so far! I am now a proud Subscriber! Thnx bro 👍
The smoothen all tool especially helps!

To push it really to the smoothest technique, the mod to make 1m piece of track
Hopefully if or whenever the second game comes out we won’t have to do this
We can only hope! I hope Frontier can improve on the coaster builder to make it even easier!
Omg thanks so much this is so much better
Does your old method of smoothing work? Also which method should I use
How do you change the Banking Offset from Metres to Feet?
Can’t, Planco is really weird with that stuff. Such as launch/lift speeds are only in m/s even if you put the speed on mph
Malice Unchained 1 is too intense for me!
No teach us a heartline roll, i dont like the one in game cause i want to do one on a coaster but it goes too quickly

a planet coaster video? In my 2022? It’s more likely than you think
Cool!
the smoothing tool messes up everything and there is no way to get to 5. the highest is 3
HeY ThIs CoAsTeR IsNT rEaLiStIC1!1!1!
First, nice video
no t bad
How you can get Unlimited money?
Play in sandbox mode
Work unlimited amount
Sandbox mode, I always play it that way
I build on console so rip me
So not the smoothest coasters?
I do not understand this is a tutorial this is not a realistic coaster
