Just finished 5 months in Pokhara ... one of my favorite places on the planet! Morning walks along the lake, so many amazing restaurants, great locals, always felt 100% safe ... although I got scammed by the Indian barbers too (BEWARE) 🤣 Still, a must stay for digital nomads ... I plan to return later this year.
I feel you :D Definetly will be back
What were u doing for 5 months ?? 😯🤣🤣
@@Is_tr897-p. Just digital nomadding ... Pokhara has great internet and my awesome hotel, the Diplomat, had a battery backup system for power failures that worked flawlessly. They even ran an AP right next to my room so that I would have a super-strong signal. 5 months (150 days) is max visa, ... after that, you are shown the door 🤣

Interesting why you would take a 12-hour bus ride on a road that’s under construction rather than taking a 20-minute flight, and then complain about the roads being bumpy.
Lol. I visited Nepal in 2002. After taking one journey by bus and having some woman throw up outside of the window for it to blow back to me a couple of seats behind. I decided to take a flight. back then, of course, I wasn't aware of Nepals' terrible air safety record. Bumpy roads and travel sickness, I guess, is the price to pay for mitigating the risk of air travel. I'll be revisiting after all these years in April, I can't wait.
You and Gypsy In Sneakers are there at the same time
👍👍💖💖👍👍
Is there more blue sky in Nepal than India?
😃

How is the air quality?
Crystal clear ... your're only 20 miles away from Annapurna.
