It was our first road trip to France this year. There were five of us (including friends from Hong Kong) driving from Folkestone to Ducey via the Le Shuttle. It was a long journey indeed, and it took us over five hours from Calais to get to Ducey which is a small quiet town near to Le Mont-Saint-Michel. Although it was our second visit (not to our friends) to this holy place, it still fascinated us a lot. We also had a full and delicious lunch with local oysters and pots of mussels as well as wine and desserts. What an enjoyable afternoon! We did visit the site both in day and "night" times. But it was not totally dark when we left at around 23:00. Anyway, it was an inspiring and a bit emotional visit. Perhaps we may visit it again one day to see Le Mont-Saint-Michel surrounded by water, a sight that we have not been able to encounter yet. Hope you enjoy watching the video!
