Manchester's Banksie on Bowie, getting personal with RuPaul, and using Drag as a superpower | mEats

In a mEats Pride special, we met up with drag sensation Banksie - the towering star (she’s over seven feet tall in heels) of series five of @dragraceukbbc from right here in Greater Manchester.
Born and raised in Wigan, she talks about taking inspiration from the legendary David Bowie, getting deep with RuPaul and using drag as a superpower.
She’ll be holding court at @maya_mcr for the whole of Pride, as the creative force behind its weekend-long Studio 24 party, running from 22 to 25 August.

This was a great interview. I've been to this coffee shop and really enjoyed it without knowing the owners or background.
I love this person's outlook and view on life too.
