This is great! Focusing on a highly focused painpoint to start with is the gold standard of advice. Start small they say.

Interesting topic, and great video Nikolai - things are certainly changing in the industry at the moment but feel affordable costs for businesses are still the driving factor.

Hi Nikolai. I think you should just try out offering this type of service for your future clients and see the results. You'd be surprised. There are a lot of companies happy to pay for quality and speed, rather than trying to get the most out of those tasks. 90% of them continue with this type of subscription for months, and the amount of requests is not as crazy as you'd think. On top of that, a lot of these so called one man agencies are straight up lying about that - by the time they scaled the business to 10-20 on-going clients, they have already a lot of freelancers working on those projects. Some agencies even offer a project manager in that subscription, so it's a no brainer for a lot of companies.

Good added points 😊 The question still lies in how to actually get these kind of customers. And yes the one-man agencies are totally not one man agencies ahaha

@@NikolaiBain I can only speak from my experience, more than 75% of the clients come from word of mouth and the rest from LinkedIn + X. The simplest way to test this idea and get these customer is this.
      - Create a simple landing page with the services your want to offer + your best work possible ( feel free to use concepts as long as you don't use lorem impsum or random copy )
      - Start posting on one channel, pick LinkedIn or X for example. Keep posting for at least 30 to 60 days. A good rule of thumb is for each 8 informational + value posts, you can post 2 promotional posts, promoting your new service.
      - Keep doing that until you get your first project request. At this point you should be all set to propose this type of retainer services or just a custom price for the project. The choice is yours.
My suggestion is to avoid as much as possible giving the ability to schedule calls directly from your website. The main call to action can be the buy button, and secondary a "ask me anything" button which will lead them to a typeform asking for more details.

Thank you for the excellent content! Can you recommend image resources suitable for my web templates, considering that reselling is prohibited?
