This guide is the best tank guide I've ever seen. Genuinely. You sound like a professor giving an insightful lecture. I thought I was a tank main but I didn't know most of this. Now I'll be able to improve. Thank you. Can't wait for more on each role.
You are the best guide on hok that i can find here on UA-cam, it's like going back to my uni days doing engineering, watching endless tutors by Indian professors here on youtube. Thank you once again for the guides🙏🏻🙏🏻
The reverse of this is that when playing marksman you shouldn’t engage with your tank, you should let them take a bit of damage first. If you go in at the same time as your tank the enemy will shoot you instead of them, but if you wait until they are about 3/4 - 1/2 health and then go in, the enemy will continue to attack the tank while you can freely do all the damage you like. Secondly, play near your tank but not right next to them, otherwise the enemy will hit both of you with aoe attacks.
Thanks for always being there for us newbie, been playing mage since you recommended Heino on past video. But I'm learning tank support for our 5 man games
Great video. Zhuang my go to these days. Mid lane was my go to.. I find myself doing well as a roamer. Yari is the second go to, it depends on my team. Cal yen and Dalia second main . Keep up the guides . 🎉🎉🎉
Loved the video personally I don't like tanky supports I usually leave the tanking to the clash laner I main support but am more of the healing or team buff kind of support if you don't mind could make another amazing video taking about such supports thank you for always delivering and having our backs ❤
As someone who plays in other moba for quite some time now, I've known most of those play styles already but after transitioning to hok. I'm quite liking the play style and skill sets of the hero Liu Shan and this video gives me some info about that hero that I didn't know yet😊. Hope you could also make some tips and tricks on some hero
@@auberonwizonixI noticed you didn't have it on too in the Luara guide. Though recently a lot of gamers coming from other mobas(especially wildrift) are especially used to this mechanic. I've seen a lot saying they won't play if there's no AA targeting. Still, the guide does have pretty good advices. (I'm also rooting for you 10k sub target)
The problem when using roamer in solo q is that even if you are stunning the whole enemy team, your team will still lose. It happend today when i was using lian po(i am not sure about the name). And i got mvp.
You should NOT play support in solo queue if you are looking to win. It's very rare to find teammates who will follow up because supporting is all about synergy
9.45k👀👀👀 Man, my brain is finally braining, as i am playing mage now, i totally forget and sometimes attack support, so helpful to be back at basics 😂, different pov are so important
Can you take samples of character break down stats/description. Example , Angela Burst mage / Dr Bien support mage formation mage .Some characters have mage/assassin. I think that is important. Cal yen is team buff and sport . Thanks again 🙏
can u make a Nezha video ? I have been drafting him into Sun Ce and I believe he was created to counter Sun Ce. His ult is faster than Sun and his passive deals true damage making Sun's passive useless
I will. But talking about countering, they both counter each other. Both can travel across the map to join fights so they basically nullify each other. Sun Ce wouldn't fight Nezha head on so the passive doesn't make much of a difference
Can you tell me why when i play farm lane i basically throw a coin on what the support will decide to do? Sometimes they 2v2 mid lane which makes no sense. Sometimes they 2v1 midlane and i am 2v1 dived bot lane. Sometimes we 2v2 bot lane and most of the time we win 2v2. Like i dont understand why you would take exp and put pressure on a carry lane who is supposed to be strong and ranged early. Meantime you could be helping the farmlaner who is not as strong early and needs safety to farm or killpressure to help snowball. Is there a thought process to some of those bonobos starting mid or am i just butthurt cause I am used to league of legends/wild rift strats?
Starting mid as a support is not the problem. Staying mid is the problem. The support has to immediately move towards the farmlane with the mage to support the weakest teammate in the early game (Farmlaner). If they stay mid, it's the worst thing they can do
For me i only go for farm early if my farm lane get counter otherwise always start mid or invade enemy jungler. Cause in some cases enemy jungler more important, meanwhile farm can play safe since roamer provide vision already.
@@stickydusty as far as I understand it is a rotation strat to get a 3 man vs enemy farmlane before the enemy. I don't see a point for the support to help midland otherwise. Plus when u get matched by enemy support it kinda defeats the purpose of the support being mid. You just neutralize the strat assuming you dont die to the 3v2 bot.
@@raphaelchaitas1107 like i said in some cases with spesific occasion mid & roam invade enemy boar then process to go to sideline with lvl 3 mid, jungle come around 1:30 which you already get advantage as early as possible meanwhile farm just little bit behind a gold, Cutting enemy jungler also allow our jungler invade & then process farm lane early if that's was the plan at beginning. If u say both roam on mid, one of them obviously go rush on farm after clear a first wave no doubt about it.
A great and helpful video as always ❤ Guys hit the subscribe button and give some support to this channel to reach 10k.let's help him a little shall we🤗
I completely disagree with the premise of the video as this play style does not apply to all roamers. For starters there are different kinds of support heroes Defensive support mage: heroes that scale with magical items whose abilities are centered around survivability of their teammates (heals, more defense, damage reduction, damage redirection, etc) Offensive support mage: heroes that scale with magical items and are centered in buffing the offensive capabilities of their teammates (buffs to attack, attack speed, porcentual damage, movement speed, etc) Engage tanks: heroes that are meant to initiate fights and tank the initial damage (they have mobility to close the distance, crowd control to root the enemies in place so your team can dish the damage and survivability mechanics to tank like shields or self healing, etc) And disengage tanks: heroes that are centered around protecting allies from enemy engages (they have mobility to always be in the right place, some sort of survivability mechanic to protect allies like shields or damage reduction and crowd control to interrupt enemies and allow your teammates to reposition themselves in a team fight or retreat to base) While laning these four classes are played differently. For example the engage tank is meant to punish the marksman every time he's out of place in relation to his own support with an all out engage and sometimes harass to force a play. While the disengage tank is meant to protect the marksman from ganks and his own engages.
@@auberonwizonixI think he's talking about how most of the video is about a tank support's job when there's still so much to cover about roamers/ supports like how the video is titled. There were only little things to know about sheilders healers and less about retreat and repositioning champs like Sun Bin and Da Qiao.
Thank you for your insightful comment. After watching the video and reading this comment, I understood 2 things. HOW TO PLAY SUPPORTS from the video and TYPES OF SUPPORTS IN HOK from this comment. One thing that i don't understand is this "Completely Disagree" part. For Eg... The video states that - Support needs to play around the team. So by the law of complete disagreement, Do i need to play all alone? Just wondering 😇
@@4-to-5-the-9 That's not what "Disagreement" is. Yes. There is a lot more. But there is only so much you can say in one video. I just think people like to quote, "I completely disagree with this video".
@@auberonwizonixOh I'm not saying the information in the video is wrong or that these are bad tips. They're not. They're very good tips, but they're not applicable to all roamers and not even all tanks. Just engage tanks. And since you don't mentioned the distinction between the types of roamers well that might cause someone to take an enchanter support and play it like a tank. I disagree with the premise not with the content. I know you mentioned something at the end of the video, but it's not about initiation only, but the whole play style you're suggesting here only applies to engage tanks. Sorry if my comment comes out as rude. Not my intention.
