    5:00 Here are my thoughts.
Let's use BUDGET RECONCILIATION to repeal the tax stamp requirement for suppressors.
That needs ONLY 51 VOTES in the Senate. Not 60.

Written by a 67-year-old United States Marine Veteran:
50 YEARS AGO I was arrested for my DUI 3rd victimless offense after being "Honorably Discharged" from the United States Marines in (1979).
DUI felons who are non-violent, without incident, accident, or damaged party should never be ETERNALLY abrogated from gun rights! (Plenty of cops have 2 DUI's)
Title 18 922(g)(1) Requires review (Non-violent victimless felons want 2-A rights returned for home protection!).

While DUI is a strong indicator someone is not responsible, we all grow up as time passes. I know I am not the man I was in my twenties and won’t judge anyone based on long ago behavior. In fact for someone like you who made mistakes long ago, I expect you are a more responsible, compassionate and empathetic individual as effect of learning from your mistakes.

I have to agree, and I actually work with a former convicted "attempted arsonist" who is actually very responsible. Supposedly, he was recreationally playing with molotovs in a parking lot as a teenager in the 1970s (not actually attempting to cause any property damage). He's in his late 60s now and clearly a very mature and responsible person, yet he can not vote or defend his property because of a silly mistake made as a teenager.

a man of poor character. Sorry but if we're going to be deporting young adults for being hamas protesters, or BLM protesters in their 20's (as well as take away their 2A) then a DUI is no difference. They all show lack of moral character. It's the U.S, punishment above all else!!!

Can't wait for a world where voting for a president isn't a disruptive event that flip flops life every 4 to 8 years for all us regular folks. Last week might have been a win but dang our country has got to come together. I can dream.

I was hoping for a National Second Ammendment Preservation Act to preempt state gun laws but, living in California, I'll be happy with any relief from the new administration and congress.

Thank you, The Reload. If Trump, US Senate just focus on the federal judiciary I would be happy. All else is icing, after resetting the 2A Executive Orders and Actions
    Also:
    1) Let the DOGE loose! #EliminateDeptOfEducation #DefundHUD #SeveranceTheFedSwamp
    2) ATF back to an acting director.

Better off to allow the executive orders to continue to get their asses kicked in the courts to set a precedent.
If the EO are rescinded before they are finished in the courts. No precedent created and a new POTUS could send us right back down the same road again.

What was not being considered in the discussion is that Trump also has to do things to ensure a Vance win in 2028. Any negative gun legislation or executive orders will weigh heavily on the midterms and 2028. I suspect Trump will try to do some good for gun owners rather than just being passive for those reasons.
