- Hey everyone!
Here's a fun hunt that actually works great with the hammer using aerial style! Shoutout to RokuMH for the very unique idea :D
Spawn dependent and with more friendly Ceanataurs not trying to claw at you this can probably be quite a bit faster, but it felt like a pretty clean run and I managed to stop him from escaping so I'm happy with that ^^

I swear, Monster Hunter has amazing sound design with its hit noises. The clang sound for dealing stun damage, the cracking of a monster part breaking, even the little noises for when you're in critical distance when using a bowgun...it's all so visceral and rewarding. This exemplifies that.
well said - I believe it is these compound little features and aspects of the game that present such an incredibly engaing experience :) I do hope they will continue to capture this feeling for upcoming games as well!

I just started MHGU, how come my Aerial Hammer doesn't hit twice in the air as yours does? Also using Adept Hammer, on its 3rd charge I don't do a swinging hammer slam either?
To do the double hit you need to press the a - button not the x-button :) , i would recommend to watch gaijin hunters weapon class tutorials if you are looking into a new weapon class. he did a very good job at showing the most important controls for each of them. --> this one is for the hammer check it out ^^ ua-cam.com/video/31FlW5PsSvo/v-deo.html
The double aerial hit is done with A button, and some tips, you need to press it earlier bcs theres some delay to those attack

schwer zu sagen, gibt definitv einige sehr unpassende combos für waffenklassen. generell find ich alchemy style für sehr viele waffen nicht sehr passend. hab's ehrlich gesagt bisher noch nie ernsthaft verwendet :'D

is crit eye 2 or repeat offender better ?
because my skill i got is crit eye 2, weakness exp, critboost, sharpnest and vault
yulius tjhang it depends on what you are hunting. usually i would say only use repeat offender on hammer in valor style, but for this hunt i was able to jump and attack shogun continuously most of the time so i had access to the 30% of repeat offender pretty much all the time. if you feel though that due to the way the hunt goes and you have longer gaps between the times you can attack and have to wait, then i’d say crit eye 2 may be the more consistent choice 😁

They are both fantastic speedrunners and pretty much my main inspiration alongside a few other players that got me into trying out speedrunning myself :) - Main approach for this channel though was and still is to try and showcase either groupruns against ex deviants or showcase solo speedruns to give players an idea what weapons work well against a variety of monsters. Adept long sword I'd have to check out and see if there is still a decent match up for it. High rank Lagiacrus used to be good to do with adept ls, but in g-rank valor style outclasses it.
@@huntersdomain3479 can u tell the other speed runners aside from canta and Mai also the only reason why I started adept LS was canta's speed run against hellblade glav and one normal glav (ingle isle quest)
