I thought there was a vast improvement even just after the initial white powder! But, the whole process and the finished result is fabulous! And, not a spray-gun in sight! You are a real artist!
Ah ok. Sorry, For prepping say applying a rust colour use a light brush of Matt varnish before applying. I find the dirt colours do stick if you apply with a brush.

Thank you for your kind comment. The first one I did was a trail and error experiment but it turned out well.
Very convincing. Good clear advice. Thanks.
Awesome job!!! The weathering looks really good! Cheers Onno.
Nice bit of weathering looks really good. 👍
Thanks, I'll try your techniques, they look very effective.
They look good Andy
Simple when you know how, innit ? Thanks 😎
Fun though...
nicely done great video cheers al 😊👍👍
Excellent.
Nice that. I use pastels for weathering, practically weathering powders, but matt varnish and hairspray always seems to bring off the powder?
I find spraying a very light mist from a distance seems to work.
I've seen a lot of videos for wearing open wagons and tankers; but never one for wooden vans. Any thoughts on that?
how do you make the powders stick to some plastics that it simply slides off?
Matt varnish. Sprayed lightly when weathering is completed.
BALLAN PARKWAY that will fix the powder when finished, but some plastic won’t take the powder to start with :(
