Looks like you're not using any adhesives and few fasteners between your layers. Also wondering why the vapor barrier is needed. I appreciate how you think things through and explain your logic and the results you're aiming for - would you share your thinking here? Thanks for your great videos!
Thanks for watching. The vapour barrier is needed because of the heat in the floor and the cold below it. We added more fasteners after, but while assembling we just put enough to keep things in place.
Ahhhhhh enfin on commence à voir la réno prendre forme. J'ai surtout aimé la partie où on vous voit installer les différentes couches de revêtement de plancher. Encore une fois bien hâte de voir la suite! :-)
I thought he had said something about an aqua hot radiant floor system? I think it was when he was doing a walk through of the outside components video.
Brian Davis EHP Rollboard is a high performance Ceramic insulation. Here’s a link about our GMC experience with it. engineheatprotection.com/engine-heat/yvan-lacroix-article-from-bus-conversion-magazine-regarding-ehp-rollboard/
@@LacroixCruiser sounds great I'm at the stage of applying the spray foam before the walls and ceilings and floor like your at in your video now where can I get the EHP board for my coach?
Just curious I heard you mention in a previous video that you were going to be moving the rear windows forward just wondering if it still in the plans?
Bravo
You guys are so cool!!! My wife and I just started our MCI9 conversion.
Your french translation is soo funn!
Thank you
Yvan, Onan makes what is called a Hospital Muffler. I will be looking for one when I install the generator…
Good idea.
I have not seen you for a while 😊what are you 2 doing now? I love your videos a lot 😊
Thanks doing more detailing and travelling

I love this work!
Could you possibly tell us an estimate of what this same floor system would cost us to have done?
Just the labor cost? Thanks
Took us 3 days.
Belle job Sylvie et Yvan.
Merci

Great progress! Have you considered radiant heat in the floor? Or is it not worth the expense compared to your solid insulation system?
Stay tuned!

Brian Davis very observant of you!
Looks good what's the HVP Roll board do I'm not familiar with it?

@@LacroixCruiser yeah it keeps opening your article on when and how you used its not where to get it. Or I'm doing something wrong, help

Plastic and the vapor barrier? So glad I'm watching... Wouldn't have thought of either. Just curious why both? Also, why no roll board on the sides?
The plastic is the vapour barrier, we are not done with the walls yet, they will get EHP Rollboard.
I'm surprised that floor penetrations will be made later. Is the rollboard ready to drill or saw through without snagging/fraying?
Rick Bartley yes, it’s very easy to work with. It cuts, drills and forms without issues.
Just curious I heard you mention in a previous video that you were going to be moving the rear windows forward just wondering if it still in the plans?
Yes, but we have to wait until after the inspection
@@LacroixCruiser What inspection is needed? I've never seen that discussed on anyone's channel.
Since we relocated the bus from Arizona to Quebec it must pass a safety inspection to get plates.
@@LacroixCruiser Can't wait to see the prep and outcome of this. I'm learning through you.
TechGuy thank you.

Notre GMC a uniquement le EHP, avec grand confort. L’alternative aux EHP est le Ceratex 3170. Malheureusement aucun Fourniseur aux Canada.
You covered the engine Access panel? Are you never going to need that?
It’s very easy to access for when we need too.
