The Noosa Bar. Tuesday morning, January 24, 2023.

Another ripper morning here in Noosa and more of the same forecast for the week. Blue skies and a light 3 to 5 knot variable southerly breeze blowing at the river mouth. A sloppy, dumping swell on the bar. BOM forecast is for east to south easterly winds below 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the middle of the day then tending east to north easterly in the late afternoon. Seas: Below 1 metre. The guy on the cat navigated that with pure perfection. Life jacket or not. He's done that run 100 times. As much as I hate (bulky) jackets personally. The new micro inflatables are awesome. Shame manufacturers have abused regulations and priced them so damn high. I remember 30+ yrs ago when they made bike helmets compulsory. Good idea. But the price doubled overnight.
