Thank you, thank you, thank you. VirtualDJ FAQ/Forums support is worse worthless and, if you aren't a VDJ8 subscriber, tech support is impossible to get to.
on VDJ 8 (and I would assume 7 as well), Just set first output to Master Ch 1 & 2, second output set to booth (not headset) Ch 1 & 2. You won't hear yourself on mic!
Ok so I thought I had it. I tried your setup but no one could hear my voice, yet my mic does work through local in SL. Wondering if it's because I have the mic option in the config on the top of the list and not the bottom like you have it.
When we click the mic button, we have to decrease master volume because people should be hearing voice of microphone. Can Virtual DJ 7 do it automatically ? We click mic button and master volume goes down automatically which level we determine.
TY Mixed Chick however, when I use this configuration, my music runs through each file like lightening. What do I do now? The music runs normal speed on the regular config.
there's an easier solution for this problem......just open volume mixer on your PC and turn virtual DJ's Volume off completely since you'll hear yourself in second life. alot faster
My voice is anything but annoying & it helps me to hear myself when djing anyway, lol, and I am trying to do the exact opposite on a spare computer with a spare copy of VDJ7, havent configured in years lol
