the song i personally recommend beginners to learn is Avatar's Love, it's super simple and very beautiful!it's the first song i learned to play on the kalimba :)
I got a kalimba for Christmas yesterday, and I immediately started playing it. Actually, I was really suprised what it was first. A day later (today) I had already made up my own melody (not a long one) and from Sam I learnt ,,Happy Birthday''. I was so happy and proud!

Then, a bunch of songs I've never heard in my entire life... In the part that explains how to put a song up an octave, it has Right Here Waiting. Then, the songs in the book. (I wrote them how it's written in the book; just none of them have .s at the end) Edelweiss. Laputa:Castle in the Sky. God is a girl. Oh! Susanna. Sunshine On My Shoulders. This Is My Song. more than i can say (with Japanese lyrics??). And finally, Yesterday Once More. I've never heard of any of them.

I just realized that using the numbers is better than the letters because the staccato marks or whatever help you determine the proper octave 😭
