From a very early age, Mendelssohn has been one of my favorite composers. I have sometimes joked that I would have married this man had I had the privilege of knowing him😊.
It's a shame this album has a mistake with the last piece being not by Mendelssohn. It's the absolutely amazing Cherubic Hymn Op. 27 №5 by Russian composer Pavel Chesnokov.

Interesting thought. To me, his music was always "too perfect", it that is possible.
Thanks from Türkiye for the master composer and his distinguished works👏👍
Obrigada 🙏
Gracias

Ótimo!
Are you absolutely sure that 02:03:09 is Mendelssohn and not "Cherubic Hymn" by Pavel Grigorievich Chesnokov?!

It is indeed Cherubic Hymn Op. 27 №5 by Chesnokov.
not complete without a mention of his incredible choral works like Elijah, psalms, etc
Biscuis fines 🎉😂❤🎉😂❤🎉😂❤
The last one is not Hark! The Herald angels sing...
Only this is the 'Cherubic Hymn' by the Russian composer Chesnokov (1877-1944), not Mendelssohn
