WOW I loved this - we're in very similar positions and it was really refreshing to hear from someone in a like situation. We also had a very financially unpredictable last year, which makes for a weird start to 2023 - and it's both exciting and stressful haha. Excited to follow your journey!!
I think it’s hard for anyone, of any age to outright buy a car with cash, honestly. We have car loan & mortgage, but no other commercial debt thankfully. We put $14K cash down payment on our car, which dropped our payments to a reasonable amount, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. You’re doing wonderfully & I wish I was half as smart as you are at your age! ❤ You’re going to do great things with your goals! 💪🏻
So the main place to open one is through your employer! Some have them and some don’t so look at that first! Second I do believe there are some online HSA banks but I don’t know a ton about them, I like to research on nerdwallet to see if you qualify (you have to have a high deductible insurance plan). Here’s an article with some different options if your employer doesn’t offer it www.investopedia.com/best-health-savings-account-providers-5079652
