To be fair Cody did it to himself. He was acting heelish as hell in AEW and flirted too much with I want to be a good guy and I want to be the guy the AEW fans fell in love with (Bullet Club Cody). Once he started doing that the fans booed him because they wanted the epic heel Cody back. I think heel Cody is probably the best version of Cody, watching old BTE man he was sooooo good.
