You know what makes it worse? John Ingle had just lost his beloved wife Grace, in February 2012, right around the time this episode was taped. I think that took a lot out of him, since he passed away that September, six months after this episode aired.
You're right. Grace died February 11th 2012 and he died 7 months later on September 16th 2012. So sad. :( It is nice that he didn't have to be without his love very long.
I've heard of instances where when one spouse dies, the other soon follows. Thankfully, my father, who has been widowed for four years, is still active and vibrant, therefore it never applied with him.
This scene makes Sam look awful. And Patrick is always awful. This is 2012 by 2016 when he leaves with Robin, he’s been with Brittany , Sabrina and Sam. Got Brittany and Sabrina pregnant and proposed to Sabrina and Sam. Broke up with everyone, divorced Robin and remarried Robin. Good job Robin what a great choice.
I love Tracy. Love her sarcasm. But I also love when we see the gentle, soft side of her. Doesn't happen often but when it does...its great to see
Edward's statement about "taking the good ones and leaving the bad ones" automatically takes me to the senseless killing of Johnny Wactor this week.

TaraBallou16 Don't forget John had been suffering from cancer as well when he passed away.

No way. I did not know that!
I’m glad Tracy was the one who told her father, Edward, about Robin’s death.
Every time I watch this…

Robin loved Edward. He is right, the good die young.
I love Tracy and Edward's humanity, when they chose to shpw it.
John was a wonderful actor!
great show, still
Aww, Edward :(. GH wouldn't be the same without you. He acts like a curmudgeon but is a real softy. Especially when it came to his family

Sam ,Robin is dead shut up
I wish GH would have recast the role of Edward
No, I think it's perfect the way it is.
JMoonrise I agree mr ingle can’t be replaced !
No way
Then failed miserably when they replaced him with Jed Allen, and it happened when Anna Lee passed away. I wished he'd was the Edward for that episode.
John Ingle was the best but not the first right?
I missed out how Robyn died. Thanks, now I know!!!. And I looked up how Robin Bernard died in real life.
