I have owend mine for 3 years I've dropped it into water several times but now it's an older phone I'll try my luck at underwater photos with it in salt water see if it survives that. I love this phone

Yes, the s pen isn't a water tight seal and is water-resistant. It just sits there to charge and be held basically. Inside of the hole that the s pen sits in is where it becomes water-resistant (the housing that holds the s pen)

How come you dont actually try the volume after the water test because mine has been scratchy after getting dropped in the toilet but tbh I think its recovering. The volume is leveling out. This phone is amazing

Mine got dropped in the washing machine...water was coming out of the bottom holes. Not switching on but vibrating on touch. Does Samsung make less quality of phones for India?

@@laupao2595 if you make it a little lower it gets better. but yeah it hink this is caused by them using the case/phone as a speaker? probably like the lg phone does since the front super thin speaker grill doesn't have a speaker underneath if you watch teardowns

I filmed my kids in the pool. Quite a few times and no issues. Recently forgot it in my pocket and swam around for 15 mins and it completely died. 🤦♂️ it's with the repair guy so hope it can be repaired

The real waterproofing test would be doing this and washing it with water weekly. I poured water over my s7 edge only once and a few pixels died on the right side of my screen over weeks and it grew a little but stopped. Thankfully the rest is ok. But its mostly luck

It does but usually it recovers over time playing loud noises to clear out the speaker helps too

I have samsung s10 and note 10+, and i have tried with 4 phones (s10, note10+, note10+ and note 10+) the speaker and mic will be broken when you do that for a month. Samsung 10 series are not waterproof
